About Me

Hi my name is Jane Maddison (JCM Childcare) I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder and live in the village of Gilberdyke.

I am fully insured and hold Enhanced CRB/DRB Checks for myself, my husband and son.

I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years.


I am accredited to offer free Early Education places for 9 month, 2,3 & 4 year olds.

I can drop off/pick up from Gilberdyke Primary School.

Payments accepted via Tax Free Childcare and workplace voucher schemes.

My Experience

I have been enjoying childminding for over twenty years and provide all children in my care with a friendly, clean, safe, loving, home-like environment.

As a registered Childminder I am inspected by Ofsted and recieved a 'Good' rating in my last inspection, the full inspection report can be viewed on request.

My Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in CCLD (Children's Care, Learning and Development).
Paediatric First Aid.
Food Safety (Level 2)
Safeguarding Children.
EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
CAF Practitioners Training.
Level 2 Certificate in Literacy
Keeping up with the Children Literacy Course.
Level 1 Certificate in Literacy.

Conscious Discipline - Loving Guidance.
Mark making.

My Availability

Working Hours 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday.
Care outside these hours can be accomodated but will incur an extra charge.

I have limited places available. Early years funded places for 9 month, two, three and four year old accepted. Please contact me for more information.
