About Me
Hello, my name is Leigh. I’m currently working for two families. One Mon-Thurs and the other on Fridays. Soon my current family Mon-Thurs will no longer need a nanny, so I’m looking for a new role. I am really looking forward to working with a new family.
I’m looking for a four day a week full time nanny position, but can be flexible on which days. Alternatively a five day a week position again with full (8 hour days)
l have experience working with children from 3 months to 12 years. I live in Hainault. I am a reliable, enthusiastic and caring person, I absolutely love working with children! I am also tidy, organised and am happy to help with any and all household tasks as well as cooking nutritious meals. I drive and have my own car. I like pets, so would be happy to work for a family with dogs. I think I could fit in well and help a busy family life run smoothly.
My Experience
My past experience includes working in a private day nursery in as a senior nursery nurse, running the 0-1's department. Previously I was a nanny for three children aged 10-16 years, and worked with them for over 7 years. I'm also involved in a home schooling program working one to one with an child who has autism. Which I’ve done one day a week for 11+years.
I babysit for multiple families when needed, all of whom would be happy to provide excellent references.
In my spare time a volunteer with the cinnamon trust dog walking, as well as helping at a chigwell riding trust which is horse riding stables for children at adults with special needs.
My Qualifications
I have a CACHE level 3 in childcare and education, which I achieved at a grade B. A level 2 certificate in behaviour that challenges in children. I have previous training in paediatric and youth first aid, a level 2 award in food safety in catering. I have a current DBS check, as well as previous East Kent fire safety training and safeguarding awareness. I am also OFSTED registered.
