I am 33 years old, married, I have a 6 year old boy and 1 year old baby girl. I love keeping fit, Non smoker, I live in wallsend but i have my own vehicle. I enjoy working with children of all ages and different abilities. I am a reliable, loving, caring and a patient person.
Since having my daughter I haven’t returned to a full/part time nanny job. However I have been helping two families out with afternoon and evening babysitting. One family left a review, please read.
I left my nanny job September 2017 to go on early maternity leave. The family re-located to Leeds the same month.
I worked for a lovely family in Newcastle Tuesday and Thursday 8am-6pm. The families situation changed needing overnight stay, weekend shift and twlight shifts. I looked after 2 girls a 3 year old during the day then collected oldest from school. My usual working day; morning school run, youngest to have breakfast then go to a playgroup or an activity. Go home to have lunch then it would be nap time. During this time I would do a general tidy of the home, put washing out, wash dishes or any ironing. Collect eldest from school then go to tennis club or gymnastics. After this I try to get homework done, any reading or complete some writing books. I covered school holidays and sometimes worked extra days depending on mums schedule. I have also covered overnight 8:30pm until 8:30am. .
I worked for a family living in Gosforth. One girl aged 3 years old and a 4 week old. Mum was disabled so I was a mothers help. We would go out to meet friends, go to soft play, I would do any shopping and go to Playgroup's. I also would take oldest or youngest out on my own depending what was booked or arranged. I also would babysit so the parents were able to spend some time together. I left this role to go to a more permanent job.
I worked for a family in Jesmond caring for a 16 and 12 year old. I covered 3 full days in school holidays Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's. When on holiday I would take them for days out, go to the park, play tennis, cinema, baking. I also helped around the house with general cleaning and ironing.
Before going on maternity leave with my first child I worked for a family in Whitley Bay. I started September 2009 one child aged 5 month. I took him to playgroups some of them were; piccolos, music bugs, messy monkeys, story time and many more. I had a very good routine, in the morning I would sterilise all bottles and plan his meals for the day. I organised our days and made sure I stuck to mums routine. I would get him ready for the day, bath him and put him to bed. We had lots of fun together at home, play groups, go to the park, swimming, soft play and going to white house farm. I would bake with him, paint, draw, read stories and do many more things to make sure he loved being with me while parents were away. I also helped with light house work, laundry and children's ironing. I made sure toys were put away and his bedroom was tidy. Even though I haven’t been a nanny for this family since 2012 I am still in contact with them. I worked in summer school which is the mums business for 5 weeks 2017. I have also looked after the families 3 children while parents went away for the weekend.
I have a lot of experience with children and understand the challenges which may present themselves. I also know the rewards and joys you experience as a parent and looking after children. I am a patient person and love children.
I have had many regular babysitting jobs and two one off hotel jobs through an agency.
I would be happy to send you my full cv with childcare references so please send me a message with your email address.
I completed my first aid course child and baby on the 25th February 2013.
CRB check completed and clear.
I have completed and passed my Common Core Skills and Knowledge Level 3 childcare.
My main weekly availability would be evening, weekend and overnight babysitting. Depending what hours/days you require I can be available on bank holidays and school holidays. Please send me a message if you would like to discuss further Thank you

We made a profile on childcare.co.uk to find a babysitter for our 1 year old girl and had many childminders and nannies message us with offers and details, however no one “clicked” for us.
I came across Annmarie’s page and liked everything I’ve read so we decided to invite her to our home to meet her and see how our girl will react around her.
She was so lovely from the moment she stepped in the house and we both had a very good feeling about her. She babysat for us a few times now, mainly in the evenings when our little one is asleep.
She always kept me updated with texts and photos and was very kind from the beginning.
We will 100% keep her as our occasional babysitter x
100% recommend her and would give her more than 5 stars.
First time I have ever left my kids with a babysitter. I have a 6yr old and 16month old
AnneMarie was loves by them and me! from the minute she walked through the door! Very kind and gentle, helped my 6yr old with her homework, kids were at ease with her, after I left Annemarie got my 16month old down for a nap no problems, no tears then sent me a text which totally relaxed me and put me to ease.
Annemarie was absolutely lovely and biggest thing of all my kids adored her and my oldest told me she didn’t even want to leave her side and go to her room for even a second!
Totally recommend to absolutely everyone out there needing a babysitter.
Ann has been working with us since June 2015 and looked after my 2 little girls. She easily adapted to fit to the needs our family and I was not worried at work when the girls were with Ann. She would regularly update me with the activities of my little one and made sure she had something to eat as my little one has been fussy eater at times. She also does the school runs for my 6 yr old girl and facilitated activities like tennis. Girls also enjoyed the occasional company of Ann's little son who I think has helped them to bond more with Ann.
After I got a higher training job, I started doing on calls for which Ann has been able to provide cover. She also did occasional night babysitting for my girls when I did night oncalls. She would also help to pick up girls from school and nursery when I was stuck at work.
Unfortunately, we need to let go Ann due to our change in circumstances. I know for sure that my girls would terribly miss her and I'm not sure whether I could find someone else equivalent to Ann with any ease!
Annmarie has been with us since February 2015. She has fitted in well with our family right from the start. We have found her to be trustworthy, reliable, endlessly patient with our three-year-old daughter and a calming, positive influence on us all! We also have a three-month-old son - Annmarie is more than competent at dealing with all aspects of his care and engages with him in an affectionate and gentle way. She is extremely well organised and adept at multitasking, so has no trouble taking care of both children at the same time, despite their often competing needs and demands.
The fact that Annmarie's son is of a similar age to our daughter is a bonus, as she is used to interacting with toddlers and understands the challenges they present. She deals with our daughter's negative behaviour calmly but firmly, and uses mainly positive reinforcement.
Annmarie is most sensitive to our needs and wishes as a family and is able to act on her own initiative where appropriate. Our daughter loves spending time with her and looks forward to seeing her every week.
We hope Annmarie will stay with our family for a long time to come!

Thank you so much for this fabulous review. I hope to be with you for a long time. Your such a lovely family and so thankful you found me.
Lots of love
This nanny is one not to be missed. as soon as she walked up our garden path we had a positive feeling about her. She has a very warm personality, engaged immediately with our sometimes shy and awkward boys and has great experience professionally and via family of looking after children and developing a positive and nurturing relationship with them. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending her.
