Self-Employed Nanny

I have provided high-quality childcare to a variety of families, offering tailored support based on their needs. I work with children ranging from newborns to school-aged kids, and my responsibilities include:

Gosforth Family (1 day per week)
Sole care for two children aged 3 and 1 years old. I plan the day with fun exciting activities for both children. I follow parents nap routine for youngest. While youngest naps i have one on one time with oldest playing with playdoh, crafts, baking and messy play.

Whitley Bay Family (1 day per week)
Sole care for two children aged 5 and 17 months. I manage school drop-offs and pickups, plan age-appropriate activities, and provide meals and snacks as needed. I follow family routines and ensure the children’s environment is safe and conducive to growth.

Jesmond Family (2 days per week)
Sole care for a 1-year-old. I assist with developmental milestones, provide nutritious meals, manage the child’s daily routine, and keep all toys and clothing organized. Regular trips to the library, park, and museums are included for enrichment.

South Shields Family (Periodic Overnight Care)
Care for two boys, aged 5 and 9, with ADHD and autism during overnight shifts. I follow established bedtime routines, administer medication, and use calming techniques to manage challenging behaviours.

Tynemouth Family (Periodic Daytime/Evening Care)
Care for a 16-month-old, providing support while the mother rests due to back pain. I ensure the child’s safety, comfort, and engagement during the daytime.

North Shields Family (Periodic Daytime/Evening Care)
Sole care for three children aged 7, 5, and 3 during parents' evening outings. Activities include outdoor play, soft play, and bedtime routines.

Wallsend Family (Newborn Overnight Care)
Assisted with newborn care while the mother attended to her daughter post-surgery. I supported overnight feedings, diaper changes, and settling the baby, ensuring the mother could focus on her older child.

Above and Beyond Care: In all my roles, I ensure a clean and organized environment by tidying up toys, clothes, and dishes as part of my childcare duties.

Flexibility: I am available for a range of hours, including short-term, full-day, and overnight care.

Parent Communication: I maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s development and daily activities.

Specialized Care: Experience with children with additional needs (ADHD, autism) and implementing calming and supportive strategies.

I completed my first aid course 2nd February 2024

Enhanced DBS check completed

I have completed and passed my Common Core Skills and Knowledge Level 3 childcare.

I have nanny insurance - Feb 2026

I am Ofsted registered - Feb 2026 I have just been reviewed by ofsted, I have passed the requirements to continue my registration.

My Availability

I am very flexible, will be happy to help with daytime childcare on a adhoc basis or regular times.
