About Me
My name is Michaela and I am 30 years old. I am a confident, outgoing and friendly person who is hard-working and extremely reliable.
In my last job I was a Nanny for twins girls aged 3 (having worked full-time with them since the age of 5 months) as well as a 6 year old boy. I went on maternity leave and then my contract came to an end due to them starting school, therefore I am now seeking a new family to join.
I enjoy working with children of all ages and enjoy the close bonds that develop. I am very easy to get on with and always successfully build positive relationships with both children and parents.
I aim to give any child in my care plenty of opportunities to not only learn but also have lots of fun and enjoyment. I find working with children very rewarding and love providing a stimulating environment for the children to play and explore.
I am a car owner and have a full clean driving license.
My Experience
I previously worked in a private day nursery for 4 years; For 18 months I was the supervisor in baby room.
When I first started training in the nursery I worked with children of all ages. I was then based in pre-school room for 2 years, which I thoroughly enjoyed and felt I learnt a lot whilst developing a range of new skills. As well as having my own key children, I also became a one to one for a child with autism. I had a very close bond with both him and his parents, and found this experience extremely rewarding.
I have been a full-time Nanny for over 8 years and have built strong and open relationships with all families I have worked with. I have experience of nannying for children aged 8 weeks and up, including having cared for twins for three different families. In addition to this, I have worked as a Night Nanny caring for baby twins.
I am now a Mum myself, currently raising my toddler who is 2 years old.
I enjoy lots of educational and fun activities with children, ensuring the children are always exploring different things.
I also have experience from gaining my Gold Duke of Edinburgh and my sports leadership awards. When doing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award I went to Morocco and worked in a Orphanage called The Village Of Hope. This was an eye opening experience which I really enjoyed.
