About Me
Hi
My name is Niamh. I live in Hindhead with my husband Dan. I have two grown up children Emily & Jack. I have been childminding for nearly 15 years now & I love it! Previous to this I worked in the Lovely Busy Little Bees Nursery in Witley.
I have always had an interest in working with children - this is what led me to do an HND in Early childhood studies. I'm very interested in the way little ones learn & develop through play & interaction.
Being a childminder has allowed me to do a job I love as well as be around for my children (who just love having the little ones around!)
My Experience
I've been working as a childminder for the last fifteen years. Before this I worked at Busy Bees Nursery in Witley.
While studying for my HND in Early childhood studies I had the pleasure of doing my work experience at The Wharf Nursery, Busbridge Infant School & St. Marks.
Having had two children myself I believe there is no experience more valuable than knowing what its like to be a parent. I know how hard it can be to leave your child in childcare as I did it with both of mine :( Because of this I ensure that I look after other peoples children the way I hope mine were looked after! :)

I am currently taking part in Surrey CC Early Years Quailty Improvment Award. This involves continuously self evaluating the service I provide in order to offer best practice.
