About Me
hi my name is catriona Robertson. I have been a childminder in carnoustie for 22 years .It's a job I love and find very rewarding.
I live in a semi-detatched house with a large enclosed garden.
I have 3 sons aged 29, 27 and 24, the youngest being the only one still living at home .
I drop off and pick up from burnside primary nursery and school. myself and 3 other childminders started up burnside parent & toddler group, which I attend usually twice a week within the school.
I have a large assortment of indoor and outdoor toys, daily activities include painting/crafts, baking and general free play.
we regularly go for walks and to the local park , as well as to the toddler group previously mentioned.
My Experience
I am a mum of 3 grown up boys, I have minded children from the age of 41/2 months - 13 years over the years.

My little girl has been going to Catrionas for over a year now and attends her house approximately three days per week. This is my first child and it cause me a great deal of anxiety when I had to return to work. However Catriona was very re-assuring and would always text me to let me know that she had settled. Catriona also sends me photographs of my child playing throughout the day. I feel Catriona has been extremely flexible when I need to change days/times to suit my working schedule which has been very helpful and stress free! I have found Catriona to be very knowledgeable when seeking advice re my childs development.
I feel my child has developed greatly since attending Catrionas with speech, sharing objects/toys, adhering to boundaries and most importantly interacting and socialising with other children. My child has made good friends with some of the other children that attends Catriona house and she looks forward to seeing them. Catriona takes the children to toddlers and for long walks. She sometimes allows them to bake and I am always receiving cards/small gifts that are hand made by my daughter on special occasions. During the summer months, Catriona allows the children to play in her large back garden which consists of many outdoor playing facilities. My child is always happy when I pick her up from Catrionas and sometimes refuses to leave!
I feel my daughter and I have built up a very good relationship with Catriona. As mentioned above, she is very flexible, honest, reliable and would do anything to be of help and assistance. Catriona always follows my instructions re the upbringing of my child.
I would very much recommend and trust Catriona to look after your child.
