About Me
My name is Sadie and I am an OFSTED Registered Childminder based in Upper Stratton, located just off of Beechcroft Road, Moonrakers Crossroads. I run my setting Sadie's House Childcare. I have been childminding for approx 18 years. I was last inspected in September 2019 by Ofsted where I retained my GOOD in all areas.
Recently widowed, I live with my youngest daughter aged 19. We live in a semi detached house, with a drive and off road parking. We have a little Bichon Frise Dog called Maisie (ideal for allergy sufferers as her fur is hypoallergenic), and our cats Coco and Mabel.
I offer a warm and friendly home from home style flexible childminding service. So if you are looking for a home setting and not a nursery type setting then I'm the childminder for you!!
The whole of my downstairs is registered and includes a playroom with a wide variety of toys to meet all age ranges. I have a fully enclosed garden with outdoor toys.
Included in our day are outings to things like farms, feeding ducks, parks, soft play areas, libraries, craft groups, and toddler groups, amongst other things.
At home we do things like messy play, arts & crafts, cooking, baking, gardening, playdoh, fuzzy felt, lego, puzzles, role play, dressing up, theme days and a whole lot more.......
I run a Covid safe and secure home and follow all the current government guidelines. Myself and my daughter are both double vaccinated and I have had my booster.

Amazing in every way, my little girl doesnt want to come home( we are boring) and often my daughter tries to leap out of my arms when she sees her fantastic child minder. She has a happy, friendly fulfilled day.I leave my child with piece of mind and reassurance that I have never had leaving her with anyone else, and I am an extremely protective Mummy as my daughter was born very early and was very tiny and fragile. This fantastic lady has helped my child develop in every way possible, walking, talking, eating, she is a different child and I really think this is down to this brilliant lady and the care she gives my child.
Overall
Wonderful, friendly, with a personal touch. My son was always well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed his time at Little Sunflowers. I was kept well updated about the different activities they did and they were always varied, have some lovely makes around the house now! Would reccomend to anyone, really fantastic childcare.
