My Requirements
I am looking for a Nanny (with DBS on the update service) to attend a family wedding with us on Saturday 20th September 2025 between 1pm-midnight (hours negotiable but core hours needed 3pm-10.30pm). It is to provide one to one support for my 12 year old son. He has ASD and ADHD and can struggle in social events. Someone who can follow him as he moves about and help him navigate social situations, to take him away to somewhere quieter when he needs it, and to give him time and attention as required would mean a better experience for him, and his siblings. He is sociable and chatty, but can misconstrue others verbal and non verbal cues so needs someone to intervene when things aren't going to plan! We will bring board games and an iPad with him so if he wants to go somewhere quieter he will have things to keep him happy. He will want to spend time with us so there will be times you can relax. We really just need another adult to have eyes on him and be his guide when needed.
The wedding is at Walton Castle, Clevedon.

Rachel attended a family wedding to provide one to one support for my 12 year old son who has ASD and ADHD. Rachel is a lovely person, with a gentle and calm manner. She was very communicative prior to the booking and arranged a video call with my son as we were not local and unable to meet before the day. Rachel spent from 1pm-midnight keeping my son happy and safe. She had an excellent rapport with him and took his lead in whatever he wished to spend his time doing. My son has spoken very fondly of Rachel since coming home and wants to see her again - which is always a positive sign!
Thank you again Rachel, for making the day run so smoothly for us. Me and my son would 100% recommend Rachel to anyone looking for childcare services.
