hi, im nikki, i love working with children,it just comes naturally to me .i am available to do nanny work .when i left school i knew i wanted to work with children and it is the main thing i have done since leaving school., i have a passion for working with children,i love watching as they learn new things day by day,it makes everyday worth living for me i love being a part of childrens lives and i plan to spend the rest of my life careing for and developing children. i understand that its hard for parents to let their children be in the care of someone else and i know it is important to them to find the right person so it is important to me that a child is happy and settled quite quickly so i like to have a strong parent partnership. i like to work very close with parents to get to know them aswell as their children. i discuss any activities that i have planned and any special outings with the parents.it is also very important that children keep to a routine so i will do everything i can to arrange my routine with the one parents already have in place. if you need professional childcare then please dont hesitate to get in touch.i am CRB checked.with first aid.full driving licence and own car.
My Experience
i have 20 years of experience in working with children,i have worked in schools,nurseries,private day nurseries aswell as nanny work giving me experience with children ages 6 weeks to 18years.duties included general care for children.a friend to children,cooking,cleaning,planning age appropriate activities,carrying out observations,following the progress of development in children,filling out progress reports,planning outings to parks,sand parks,castles,librarys,pet shops,ect..i have also cared for my sisters 7 children throughout their lives.experience with children 0 - 18 year olds,i have worked with children with mild special needs.my previous job was working with four beautiful children all under the age of 4.then my next main job was looking after 3yr old triplets and their 6 year old sister.my current families have been long term and have changed slightly so that the children are now at school and i do wrap around along with house work.I have very good references from my families.i am looking for something ideally 1 to 2 days a week to fit in with my other families which are quite flexible.
My Qualifications
i have an NVQ level 2 in childcare,learning and development.
i have an up to date medic first aid certificate.
i have an up to date CRB certificate.
