About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered childminder offering a high standard of Childcare in Brentwood Essex, I have a 3 bedroom house enclosed garden I live here alone and have a full DBS. I have been a childminder for 18 years and previous to that worked in a pre-school for 2 years,I have cared for chidren from newborn to 5 years of age .i offer a loving homely atmosphere which makes everyone feel welcome . I enjoy the outdoors and hold a full driving licence but try to walk whenever possible i visit Barleylands Farm, Sealife centre Southend on a weekly basis along with visits to Weald & Thordon Country parks, we also attend local playgroups as well as local playgroups & forest days out so lots of fun and learning along the way.I love messy play painting hand and feet and creating pictures with items we have collected from beach or parks and make sure every day is fun yet stimulating!
My Experience
I have been a childminder for 18 years and am a mum to my own 2 children ages 23 & 25 years . I have experience in a pre-school prior to becoming a childminder .
I believe in learning through play and feel the children benefit more by seeing and feeling the world around them so we often take trips to sealife and collect shells also Weald park to pick up leaves that have fallen to make our collage along with Colchester zoo and local playgroups

I am early years trained , first aid paediatric trained ,i have my Makaton certifiate and hold all relevent childminding certificates and my safeguarding certificate level 2 & 3 .i am ofsted registered and CRB checke I recently
Had my ofsted inspection which I was given a good grade

I would like to highly recommend Jane as a childminder. She took a wonderful care of my son for 8 months and the only reason we stopped is because we moved places. Arthur settled very quickly and has been very happy since day one. Jane provides all the meals even if you have a fussy eater she tries her best, they spend a lot of time outdoors in a parks, farms, woods she is very active and my son loved it. Every day when I picked him up he had some sort of arts and crafts project and his vocabulary had improved quickly too. She is amazing with children and I very much recommend her. Thanks again for taking care of our son xx

I highly recommend Jane!! She was incredible with my children and so caring. It was my first time with a childminder and it was so amazing hearing how much they loved spending time with her, my daughter didn't want to come home on the last day. Jane ensures there's food to cater all appetites and plenty of park trips. The kids come home very well fed and worn out from all the fun!

Jane has been a brilliant childminder for my son who joined her when he was just 10 months. He warmed to her quickly and was very quickly so excited to go to her each day. Jane always provides quality meals and fun, engaging activities for the children. I am so glad we chose to use her and highly recommend to anyone looking for someone to care for their child.
