About Me
Hello my name is Carly Baxter, I'm 36 years old and live in Hoo in Rochester Kent. I have a son named Harrison who is 9 years old and a 2 year old daughter named Amalie. We love visiting new places and being outdoors. I spend a lot of my weekends at football with my football mad son. When I do get some free time I like to socialise with friends & family, get lost in a book & spend time making goals for myself.
I love working with and being with children. I am passionate about what I do and I am nurturing, empathetic and lots of fun.
I enjoy organising fun things to do to encourage learning, but also love creative fun and getting messy!
I like to be outside and think it’s important for children to be outside exploring- either at the farm/play park/ woods, or if it’s rainy, then at soft play or creative activities indoors. :)
I'd like to think that the fact I'm a mum myself, that parents would feel more confident and at ease with me looking after their children, as I would treat any child in my care the way I do my own. I am also a very friendly and happy person and easy to get along with.
Please message me if you are looking to employ someone part-time or for ad hoc work. I would occasionally need to have my daughter with me when my husband is at work (he is a police officer and works shifts).

My Experience
I have 3 years worth of childcare experience with children under 5 years old in a nursery setting, where I worked toward and gained my NVQ level 2 in childcare.
Before I had my son, I worked at Charlton Park Academy, a school for children with special educational needs. The school is secondary from 11-19 years. I worked in the ASD unit with a year 7-8 class.
I have nannied for a 7 year old girl before and after school. I had sole care and helped with breakfast and with getting ready for school.
We also did homework after school and I prepared and cooked healthy dinners.
I currently work in accounts but I am struggling juggling working full time and wrap around care and school holiday care for my son and so am looking at getting back in to nannying.
