5 star childminder

Millie has recently left Brightstars to start school, but my son frankie will be starting in Jan. We have seen such a difference in our daughter’s confidence since starting and she loves going in! Siobhan and Ellie are both friendly and professional and ensure the children in their care are happy and comfortable. There’s always lots of fun activities and things to keep them busy, and we get regular updates about what they’ve been up to. It’s lovely to see how comfortable the children are there and nothing is ever too much trouble.

Would highly recommend siobhan and Ellie to anyone looking for exceptional childcare. Thank you for everything you do!

Amazing childminder!

My little girl started in September 2025 and absolutely loves it! We was so nervous about her starting as she hadn’t spent much time away from us but Siobhan and Ellie made the transition very easy for us! Florence has come on so much since she started, with her words and numbers, as well as the love and care she receives there! Truly the best, so good every child under 3 in our family has attended for many years now! They provide full updates of everything she has done all day aswell and pictures and videos which are lovely to see her so happy in their care! Siobhan and Ellie truly treat her like one of their own and she absolutely adores them too! Could not recommend Brightstars enough they are the absolute best!

Great experience

Great experience having bright stars look after my daughter for 2 + years.

She has loved her time there and it really is a home from home.

The best time and especially great that they helped us get her school ready,

The best about!!!

BRIGHT STARS IS THE BEST!!! I would give more than 5 stars if I could! There's no one better! My poppy came here from the age of 15 months and left when she was 3 and I couldn't thank these amazing people enough for helping my poppy grow and develop. She came on leaps and bounds from the education and love you both gave her. You both showered her with the care and guidance she needed for who she is today. Countless parties, days out, activities and even meeting her first best friends and more importantly her Georgie who she still speaks about!! You helped build those special friendships and bonds for the future. I honestly could not be more grateful than I am for all you done for poppy. No question was ever left unanswered, no judgement and complete understanding. I hope you both know how amazing and special you always will be to my family. I miss you so so much and would recommend you both for eternity. We love you! X

Amazing setting

My little boy started here in September 2024 I was apprehensive at first as I was going back to work full time and he hadn’t spent much time with other children .
But since starting at bright stars he has come out his shell and has developed into a lovely little boy started. Siobhan has been very understanding of the fact I work full time and has been a star write my ever changing shedual , changing days when she can ect . Luca loves nursery and has his own nicknames for eveyone he has great friendships and had developed over the year. Love all the updates I’m left with his his diary and I always know what he’s eaten and done in the day ! Not to mention all the activities and party’s they have . There Instagram is lovely for the parents to get involved and see the children in the setting . He had his last day today (goes to big school ) and he didn’t even good bye he was that excited to see his friends ! Will definitely be coming back if we are blessed in the future so glad I went with brightstars xx

THE BEST!!!

My little girl started here January 2024 after a horrendous experience in another private nursery setting and I couldn't be happier with the experience from bright stars. My little girl has truly blossomed and I couldn't thank Siobhan and Ellie enough for treating her like their own. The experiences shes been on and the care and love she receives is second to none. I honestly feel at such ease and comfort leaving my little girl with Siobhan and Ellie and Siobhans other 2 daughters. I wish you both knew how amazing you are!! They have both truly been a part of my little girls development and achievements. I adore you both!!! Couldn't recommend you both enough.

Siobhan and Ellie have looked after my little boy who’s nearly 3 for over 18 months. Couldn’t find nicer people to look after him and feel so safe leaving him in their care every day. They give full written updates every day of everything he has been up to, and provide videos and pictures too. They have taught him his numbers, encourage him to dress himself/ put his shoes on and are currently potty training him while he is with them of a day which has been a massive help alongside our potty training at home. He was also a really fussy eater and he has come on loads with his eating since being with them. They provide lots of activities to keep him entertained and he loves his days with them. Would 100% recommend.

Siobhan and Ellie are amazing! My son was with them for 1.5 years, and we only left because we moved to Ireland. They made him feel so safe and cared for, like a second home. There were always lots of fun toys and activities, from baking and painting to messy play and outdoor time in their big garden.

He loved the trips to parks, soft play and walks. Siobhan and Ellie are so kind and patient, and they really helped him learn new skills and build his confidence. I’d recommend them to any parent looking for a warm, caring place for their little one.

Waste of Time

I wouldn’t waste your time contacting. They say one thing and then change it.
They let you know they will be in contact for a visit and then they aren’t so you have to chase them.
Sounds like they’ve got too many spinning plates with no real management structure.
Agreed days which were available which were then given away a day later to someone else.
Very glad we never went through with this person.

We gave uou Availability at the time of your enquiry we do try fit in visits best we can but unfortunatly we have had children settling in past few weeks and activities outings planned and wasn't able to give you visit straight away . The children in our care come first and like any new child they are given full attention to help settle into new environment and could mot offer you a visit whilst settling children
I did contact you last week with available days/times we could do your visit but you were away on holiday and couldn't make it .I also explained was half term this week you returned and were only open few days and couldnt do any visit till week after.
In regards to comment about agreed days although you wanted thf 2 dsys i had available no agreement was signed between us we were asked by family already in contract with us to change her day and we give priority to.families already with us which I explained to you I also offered you 1 alternative day and the second day of your choice was still available childcare availability does change all the time added sessions, reduced sessions ,change days,school leavers which is when space opens up

5 star childminder

I moved my 15 month old from their nursery because he wasn't coping very well, I saw another few childminders but Siobhan and Ellie just seemed perfect. Benjamin seemed so settled during settling sessions and it's only his first week but he's already so much better in comparison to the nursery, hes eating his meals, hes content and I just love the personal 1-1 he gets with Siobhan. He loves cuddles and i just know I've made the best decision for my little boy! I'm also really loving getting photos and videos of him, it's so nice to see what he gets up to. Thanks so much Siobhan and Ellie xx
