Chrissy is the BEST!! Chrissy and her wonderful team truly felt like family to us.

My baby had never been looked after by anyone else when she started at Chrissy’s at just 11 months old. From the very beginning, Chrissy made us feel so supported and reassured, with lots of settling-in days and complete flexibility to make the transition as comfortable as possible. Before long, Chrissy’s became such a happy and special place for my little one that she would reach over to Chrissy with a smile, ready to start her day.

Chrissy is so warm, kind, caring and everything you could want and need when looking for a loving, supportive and nurturing environment for your child. What really stood out to us was how much thought Chrissy puts into every child in her care. She genuinely takes the time to understand their individual personalities, needs, interests and little quirks, and you can see how much she thinks about what will make each child happy, comfortable and confident. Nothing ever feels like an afterthought — everything is so carefully considered with the children's care and happiness at the heart of everything.

She is also incredibly reliable and trustworthy, which gave us such peace of mind as parents. We always felt that our little one was in the safest and most capable hands, and that Chrissy would go above and beyond to make sure she was happy, cared for and thriving. Knowing that someone cared so deeply about our child and knew her so well made leaving her each day so much easier.

The care and attention given to the children is exceptional, and the activities and fun they have are endless. From incredible trips to the RAF Museum, City Farms and the Zoo, to name just a few and adventures to weekly forest school and special music classes, every day brought new experiences and opportunities to learn and explore. We loved receiving updates about all the wonderful activities and outings they had been on — everything was so varied, thoughtful and exciting.

My baby reached so many amazing milestones whilst in Chrissy’s care. She came on leaps and bounds with her speech, group and individual play, confidence and independence, including feeding herself. It was so lovely to see how much she developed and flourished in such a happy and encouraging environment.

We feel incredibly grateful to have found Chrissy and her team. The love, care, thought and dedication they give the children is truly special, and we couldn’t have wished for a better place for our little one to grow, learn and be so happy.

The most wonderful childminder

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The most wonderful childminder!
We feel incredibly lucky to have had Chrissy look after both of our boys. She cared for Max from 18 months old for two years, and then looked after Philip from when he was just 10 months old fr anther 2 years. I honestly cannot thank her enough.

Chrissy is such a kind, warm, caring, easygoing, creative and trustworthy person. Both of our boys absolutely adore her, and our whole family does too! They settled so quickly and were always genuinely happy and excited to go to Chrissy’s.

The boys had such a wonderful variety of activities — arts and crafts, baking, learning numbers and counting, walks, museums and, every Thursday, forest school. They made lots of lovely friends and had so many happy experiences and memories.

I always knew they were in safe and loving hands. They ate well, were beautifully cared for, and always came home happy and clean! 😊

What makes Chrissy truly special is the genuine love she has for children. She creates such a warm, calm, safe and welcoming environment where children feel secure, happy and encouraged to learn and explore.

I could always rely on Chrissy, and knowing my boys were happy and so well cared for gave me complete peace of mind.

We would wholeheartedly recommend Chrissy to anyone looking for a childminder. She isn't just a five-star childminder — she is a million-star childminder! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Trustworthy and experienced

We moved to London in June and found Ms. Chrissi to be our guardian angel. She helped not only me adjust but my son and daughter. My daughter came as a 20M year old more reserved child and has become extremely confident and well adjusted in London. This is due to Ms. Chrissi taking the children out every day (rain or shine which is unheard of in the US), taking them on the bus, tube and experiencing London. She does baking, forest school, singing and even trips to the Belsize Library for story time. We love how our daughter's skills have developed in a richer texture of sharing, listening, tidying up, and growing in independence with others.
Ms Chrissi also provides foods for the children and my daughter went from using only fingers to cutlery. She has expanded her palate with fresh, whole food and no processed snacks - very rare these days. In addition, they do not do screen time which is something that we valued in sending our daughter to a child minder. There is no TV in sight and the kids are playing with toys, dress up, painting, and her outdoor playground plus attending forest school. I truly believe that this experience has been the home away from home and the extra hands for holding and keeping my daughter safe in London.
I have also met parents there where we regularly see for playdates as it is not just Chrissi but the other families there that I enjoy as well. If I had another kid, I would send them to Chrissi as she cares for the kids as their own. My mother and sister in law have also met her with only the kindest things to say about her and her team. And my mother is a very hard woman to please.
Ms Chrissi also has 2 helpers so oftentimes the ratio for help is the most I have seen 3:8 and in some cases during the crazy sick season 3:4 or even 3:2 - that is an amazing level of personal care and assistance for the kids. With her 2 helpers, I feel confident that when they go on field trips or outside that they are well attended to and never out of the line of sight.
I can not say enough good things about Ms. Chrissi. She truly understands kids and her center is created at the eye sight of children. Some places are meant to impress the adults but hers is to meet the kids where they are at mentally and emotionally. I see how excited the kids are when they come in to play and find their happy spot or toy. She truly loves these children and I feel that she is doing this work out of the joy it brings her to be with this age group. As all parents know, it is a hard age but you would never know when you talk to Ms. Chrissi. She is calm, objective and non judgmental. She is a gem and am happy to message anyone that has questions.

A Truly Exceptional Childminder

Both of my children have had the joy and privilege of being cared for by Chrissi and her wonderful team, and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough. My daughter started with Chrissi when she was just ten months old, and from the very first day, the transition was seamless and comforting. Chrissi’s warmth, capability, and deep understanding of children made me feel instantly at ease. She created a nurturing, joyful environment where my daughter absolutely thrived — she never once said she didn’t want to go! Every morning she would beam with excitement to see Chrissi, and every afternoon she came home smiling, well-fed, and full of stories (and beautiful artwork!).

Chrissi’s creativity is boundless — she always has inventive, engaging activities planned for the children, from arts and crafts to nature play, and she is truly gifted at making learning fun. Thanks to her enthusiasm and thoughtful teaching, my daughter was counting, singing her ABCs, and developing far beyond her age level in no time.

When my son was born, I didn’t hesitate for a moment to send him to Chrissi as well. He bonded with her right away — he slept well, ate well, and absolutely adored his time there. The outings she organizes are incredible — adventures to the heath, the park, the zoo, and even the Postal Museum! Chrissi brings such playfulness, joy, and genuine love to everything she does; it’s completely contagious and creates such a happy, secure atmosphere for the children.

On top of that, Chrissi is wonderfully flexible and understanding — always accommodating if we were running late or needed last-minute care. Her kindness and reliability gave us such peace of mind. I’ve recommended her to all of my friends, and every single one of them has been equally delighted with her care.

Chrissi and her team are simply extraordinary — warm, dedicated, creative, and full of heart. She’s a true angel, and I feel so lucky that both my children had the chance to learn, grow, and be loved in her care.

A wonderful childminder!

Our son started going to Chrissy’s in Belsize Park when he was 15 months old and stayed with her for a year, until September 2025. As first-time parents, we had plenty of worries in the beginning and probably overthought everything, from settling in to communication and daily routines. But very quickly we realised he was in the right place.

Chrissy and her lovely team (2-3 assistants) created such a warm, caring environment. Our little boy settled in so easily and never cried at drop-off, which says it all really. Communication on WhatsApp worked for us, and we loved getting regular photos. Chrissy also organised some local day trips during the warmer months, sometimes even on a rainy day, which was a nice bonus.

Over the year, we saw our grow so much. He made friends, became more confident, more social and really thrived. If we had a second baby, we honestly wouldn’t think twice. We’d go straight back to Chrissy.

We had a positive experience and would happily recommend her to any parents looking for a kind, reliable childminder.

amazing childcare

Chrissie has been absolutely exceptional with our son Émile. Although he only attended on Mondays and Fridays, he settled in incredibly quickly and easily into the environment she created. From day one, he was always happy to go—never once did he cry at drop-off.

Chrissie made sure to respect the routine we follow at home, which helped him feel secure and relaxed. He consistently had good naps, and always came home cheerful and well cared for. Not once did we have a concern or issue.

It’s clear that Chrissie and her assistants take excellent care of the children. We are genuinely sad to be leaving, but Émile is now moving on to school. We would be absolutely delighted to return when our second child is ready for childcare.

We couldn’t recommend Chrissie more highly.

Simply the BEST

Words can’t describe how wonderful Chrissi and her team is. Being a first time mum, not from the UK and away from her family, Chrissi provided so much stability and security for me. I had to go back to work after 8 months and she made it easy for me to feel comfortable to leave my baby with her. From the moment I met her, I was immediately put at ease with her calm and sure demeanour. You can tell that she’s been doing this a long time and that she loves doing it.

My daughter absolutely adored going there and would literally leap out of my arms to Chrissi with the biggest smile every morning. She does so much with the kids and places individual attention on each of them. Truly the best. I worry that I’ll never be able to find a new child minder like her. We only left because we had to move and I literally cried.
10/10 - 5 stars - the best.

Wonderful! I couldn't ask for more

Chrissy has looked after our son since he was 13 months old. He is now over 3.5yrs old, and we are reluctantly leaving due to moving out of the area.
I wish we could stay (or take Chrissy with us!).

It has been wonderful to see our son go from non-verbal to chatting about his day and all the varied and engaging activities he's been taking part in. Chrissy does so much with the children, for example: baking, gardening, trips to the zoo, parks, Heath, museums, rhyme times, ballet, city farm, not to mention the arts, crafts and other educational activities in her home (which is set up like a mini nursery).

Chrissy had continued to improve her setting over the years we've been with her, for example improving the outside space. She is also proactive in buying or making new resources to support the growing interests of her children (for example putting solar system pictures up for our son).
We found Chrissy by accident (when a nursery place fell through), and now I couldn't be more grateful for that twist of fate.

With no family locally, Chrissy has been a huge part of our son's early years. We will be forever grateful for the love, care and devotion she has shown at all times. Chrissy will be remembered fondly and missed enormously. If only we didn't have to move.

Amazing Childminder

Being new to London, I was nervous about leaving my son with a childminder. However, Chrissy quickly put my worries to rest. She has a wonderful way of settling children and has been instrumental in helping my son become less fussy with food. The trips they took were always exciting and educational, and I always see how much my son enjoyed them. Overall, I'm so grateful to have found Chrissy. She's provided excellent care for my son, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any parent seeking a loving and nurturing environment for their child.

Wonderful, safe, loving home from home ❤️

Chrissy is the most wonderful childminder. Both my girls have been cared for by Chrissy since they were less than 12 months old and even when we moved to a totally different part of london I continued to drive them all the way there as I trusted Chrissy to look after them over all the other childcare settings I visited. Chrissy’s house is a proper little home. The girls greet her with open arms and can’t wait to get inside which is exactly what you want to see when you drop your children off. They receive lots of love and have lots of fun enjoying her huge amount of toys, varied games and creative activities and sweet outdoor play area. She cooks healthy home made organic food everyday, (no processed rubbish like many nurseries). Chrissy is extremely kind and so flexible, making life as easy as possible for working parents. She takes the stress out of childcare arrangements. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!
