My Experience

I have been a registered childminder for the past 15 years, a role that I genuinely love and feel very passionate about. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of caring for children ranging from just three weeks old to 11 years of age, giving me a wealth of experience in supporting children at different stages of their development.

I pride myself on providing a safe, loving, nurturing and stimulating home-from-home environment where every child feels happy, secure, valued and encouraged to be themselves. I understand that every child is unique, with their own individual needs, interests and personality, and I believe in providing care that supports their confidence, independence and overall development.

Building positive relationships with both children and their families is extremely important to me. I aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere where parents feel confident and reassured that their children are receiving the highest standard of care. I am proud that the families I have worked with have been happy with the care I provide, and I have references available from previous parents upon request.

I believe that learning should be fun, and I enjoy providing children with a wide range of exciting experiences and opportunities to explore the world around them. We regularly enjoy activities such as attending local playgroups, visiting soft play centres, spending time at parks and enjoying outdoor adventures. I also socialise with other childminders in the local area, giving children valuable opportunities to make friends, develop their social skills and interact with children of different ages.

I understand the importance of play in helping children learn, grow and develop, and I encourage creativity, curiosity, communication and independence through everyday activities and experiences. Whether we are enjoying outdoor play, discovering something new or simply sharing a story, I aim to make each day enjoyable, meaningful and full of opportunities to learn.

Above all, I want every child in my care to feel loved, supported and happy, while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are in safe and caring hands. Being a childminder is much more than a job to me; it is something I truly enjoy and feel privileged to do.

My working hours are 8:00 - 5:30 Monday to Thursday I can be flexible though

• Childminding from £9.00 per hour
