I first started using Marie’s childminding services back in 2021, when my second son was just one year old. He stayed with Marie until he started nursery at the age of three. When I fell pregnant with my third son, there was never any hesitation about where I wanted him to go — I knew straight away that I wanted him to be cared for by Marie too.

Marie has always been so accommodating, caring and understanding, and I honestly couldn’t recommend her highly enough.

Marie and her family have created such a warm, friendly and loving home-from-home environment. Both of my boys have always felt so comfortable and happy there, and they have loved spending time playing with Marie’s own boys too. It really feels like a second home for them.

Marie has a lovely, clean home with a beautiful big garden where the children have plenty of space to play and enjoy themselves. She also provides such a lovely variety of activities and experiences, from fun days out and baking to arts and crafts, making sure the children are always having fun and learning along the way.

It has given me such peace of mind knowing that both of my boys have been so well cared for, loved and looked after while in Marie’s care.

Thank you so much, Marie, for being such a wonderful childminder and for giving our boys the very best care. We feel incredibly lucky to have found you and will always be so grateful for everything you have done for our family.

Highly recommend - Marie is the BEST

As a parent finding someone to look after your precious baby is a very difficult and important decision. I knew I wanted to put my son in with Marie as my nephew had been there 9 years prior to my son and my nephew LOVED going to Marie's so I knew Arlo would love it just as much.

I put Arlo in with Marie at 9 months old and from the beginning Marie was incredible, Arlo absolutely loves going to Marie's. Marie is always doing something with the children whether it is going to the zoo, the farm, soft play or just creating things indoors for the children. Arlo always comes home saying he has had the best day.

Arlo was so sad to stop going to Marie's to go to school however Marie has been so accommodating and has said he can return for the school holidays which he is so excited for. Marie is so flexible with timings and dates it truly is so helpful.

I cannot recommend Marie more highly. She truly is the absolute best and your children will love her just as much as my son and I do!

As a single mum, finding the right childcare for my son Teddy was one of the most important — and daunting — decisions I’ve had to make. After trying nursery, I quickly realised it just wasn’t the right fit for him. It felt busy, impersonal, and Teddy often came home overwhelmed and unsettled. I knew I had to find something better — and that’s when we found Marie.

From the very beginning, Marie has been incredible. The change in Teddy since he’s been in her care has been nothing short of amazing. He’s happier, calmer, and more confident. Every morning he’s genuinely excited to go to Marie’s — and as a mum, that means everything to me.

What makes Marie so special is the way she creates a warm, loving, home-from-home environment. She treats Teddy like family, and gives him the kind of personalised care and attention that nursery simply couldn’t offer. She understands him — his personality, his routines, and his little quirks — and she supports him in a way that feels deeply thoughtful and truly nurturing.

Marie puts so much heart into everything she does. Whether it’s outdoor play, creative crafts, learning activities, or days out at the farm or zoo, she makes every day feel special for Teddy. I get regular updates, photos, and stories that show just how much he’s thriving in her care.

As a single parent, it’s hard to put into words how much peace of mind Marie has given me. Knowing that Teddy is safe, happy, and loved when he’s with her is the greatest gift I could ask for.

Choosing Marie instead of going back to nursery was the best decision I’ve ever made for my son — and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s an absolute gem, and we’re so lucky to have her in our lives.

Highly recommend!

My son has had a wonderful experience in Marie’s care, he enjoys all of the fun activities and outings that they go on as well as playing with the other children. Marie has always been really accommodating and flexible with slight changes to our work schedules and childcare needs and keeps in regular communication. Marie and her family are warm and friendly and her home is very clean and tidy with a lovely big garden for the children to play in, she creates a lovely home from home setting for children to play and feel comfortable in.

Highly recommend

The first time I ever stepped foot, inside Marie's childcare setting, I instantly felt at home. She is a warm, friendly and approachable person. She will often welcome you inside and I will always see new activities set up for the children. Her place is so spacious with a lovely garden for the children to play in.

My daughter is thriving in her setting, I'm very pleased to send her there for the day. I just know she will have fun, each time I drop her off. She takes her to willows and the zoo often. It's a lovely little group and I'm so glad we found Marie and her family.

Wonderful experience

Marie looked after my 2 daughters from September 2023 until July 2025. She always treated me and my family with such kindness and my children loved going to her setting. I really loved the fact that most days of the week they were out at parks, activity farms and the zoo. I felt confident that they were well cared for and happy.
