My Experience

I have over 10 years experience working in childcare working with children from babies to teenage years, in nurseries, pre schools, after school clubs, babysitting and one to one support roles.
A large part of my experience is supporting children with additional needs, I have worked extensively on a 1:1 basis with children who require additional support, including children who are autistic or who have ADHD, speech and communication needs, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

I have experience using Makaton, PECS, communication boards, visual supports, Now & Next boards and communication devices. I am confident adapting activities and routines so that children can participate in a way that works for them.

My professional experience also includes planning activities, supporting children’s development and independence, carrying out observations and assessments, writing and reviewing IEPs and working alongside parents and other professionals.

Alongside my professional roles, I have many years of babysitting experience and am confident with everyday routines including meals, play, personal care, bath time and bedtime.

I’m comfortable caring for children with a wide range of personalities and needs and always take the time to get to know each child as an individual.

My Qualifications

I hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People’s Workforce and GCSEs including English and Maths.

My Availability

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

My fees start from £15 family per hour. I am happy to negotiate.
