About Me
Hello! My name is Lauren, I'm 33 years old and live in the waterside area of the New Forest.
Through my career so far I have trained and qualified both in nurseries and crèche environments. I have also worked as a residential care worker in registered children’s homes. For the past 8 years I have been working for a charity full time based at University Hosptial Southampton which provides accommodation to families who have children in hosptial. I also work bank hours at a local nursery school.
I feel that my strengths include building excellent bonds very quickly with children and their families, having great communication skills, creating a fun but relaxed and safe atmosphere and being an honest and trustworthy person with a good sense of humour.
I have my own car with business insurance and a full clear license.
My Experience
I have been working with children, young people and their families for the past 15 years. This includes children aged from 12 weeks to 18 years in a variety of settings from nurseries and crèches to residential children's homes, as well as plenty of babysitting.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma
Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities and Rights in Health, Social Care or Young Peoples
Additional courses
Safeguarding, food safety, allergen awareness, fire warden training.
My first aid certificate will need to be renewed.
My Availability
I am currently looking for ad-hoc babysitting hours around my shifts. I receive my rota 4 weeks in advance. Please contact me for availability.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.50 per hour
£13.50 per hour. Childcare after midnight £15.00 per hour.
