Simply wonderful

We met Dorota 3,5 years ago when looking for a childminder for our first daughter. Born into a bilingual household, I knew it would be best for my daughter to also be exposed to Polish language and heritage outside of home, so it was my main motivation to find a Polish speaking childminder. Little did we know at the time that Dorota would also prove herself brilliant in all other respects.

Dorota has been looking after our older daughter (4 years old) for nearly 3,5 years now. During this time, Dorota's house has become our daughter's second home. Earlier this year, Dorota also started looking after our second daughter (now 1 year old). From the beginning Dorota created a warm, nurturing and fun environment for our kids to grow and develop in. She is patient, reliable and incredibly attentive to the individual needs of each child. Dorota also puts so much care in the home cooked meals she provides for the kids. Knowing our daughters have varied and balanced diet gives us so much comfort and joy.

Whilst Dorota's qualifications and experience speak for themselves, it is almost not possible to convey in one brief review here just how much she loves her job and the kids she looks after. She truly cares, way beyond what's strictly required as part of the job.

Our daughters always feel safe, happy and excited to spend a day with Dorota - the little one's arms wide open when she sees Dorota first in the morning is evidence of that! Our older daughter has had a beautiful childhood full of outdoor play, adventures and fun activities and so we both have some much to thank Dorota for. No day is the same and our older daughter always have so much excitement to share with us when she gets back home in the evening. We have seen real growth in our child's social skills and independence, much of which we credit to Dorota.

Our older daughter is due to start school in September, but we are ever so excited and grateful for the opportunity to continue the same brilliant childcare journey for our second daughter. We both couldn't be happier with the care and support Dorota has provided to our kids and us and we wholeheartedly recommend her.

Amazing Dorota - Highly recommended her

Dorota was an amazing nanny to my son between February 2019 and March 2020. Every day with her was full of exciting activities – no two days were the same! She made sure he was never stuck at home and took him on some wonderful little adventures.

Her home is a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment, and my son was always happy and engaged. He was never bored, and I loved how creative and thoughtful she was with the activities she planned.

I’ve stayed in touch with Dorota since then, and she still looks after my son during school holidays from time to time – he always looks forward to it!

I would highly recommend Dorota to any parent looking for someone caring, responsible, and full of energy to look after their child.

Professional, passionate and very experienced

Dorota has looked after my son for nearly 3 years and I have been extremly satisfied with her service. My son had very strong separation anxiety as a baby but he got attached to Dorota very quickly. Dorota has an extensive knowledge about children's development and often advised me well if I struggled with something as a first time mother. She helped my son to develop good habits and independence. Her house and huge garden are equippped with lots of intresting toys, playground, mud kitchen, ice cream truck (which my son abolutely loved!), trampoline, plants that children can look after. Dorota cooked my son delicious and balanced meals from natural ingredients only. She taught him many songs and rhymes as she loves reading and singing. Every time she provided feedback when I was collecting my son and other communication was very good too. She was very responsive. We shared similiar values and similiar views on bringing up children so our cooperation was very successful.

Caring, professional, reliable and enthusiastic

Dorota looked after my son, then 18 months, for a year and I couldn't have been happier with her childminding. She is reliable, excellent at communicating with both parents and children, extremely professional and, most importantly in this industry, great fun! She focuses wonderfully on the childrens' development whatever their age. The day is packed full of imaginative activities, reading, singing and outdoor adventures, whether that be in her vast and varied garden in the mud kitchen or play area, or in the adjacent woods hunting for insects and running in the fresh air. She is very aware of the appropriate healthy diet to fuel growing bodies and goes to extreme effort to ensure her tasty cooking provides this fuel. I cannot recommend her highly enough , my only regret was moving house so we couldn't have her childminding anymore.
