I have been a nanny for 11 years and previously a Registered childminder.
I have lifelong experience with babies and children. I enjoy teaching them about the big wide world. I think it is important for children to be given opportunities to learn and grow in confidence whatever their age. I encourage independence which also helps children with their self esteem. I look for learning opportunities in every situation.
The children that I have looked after know that they can trust me and come to me for help and support.
I understand that children need structure and boundaries but that does not stop us having fun and great times together.
I have three grown up children and 5 young grandchildren who I see and look after regularly.
I enjoy organic gardening, reading, DIY walking and cooking. I am a car driver. We have a dog so happy to look after your dog too!
My Experience
I have been a nanny for 12 years and a registered childminder in the past caring for many children.
Recent families I have worked for have children between 6 months and 16 years old.
Duties include cooking, tidying, laundry, helping with homework, after school activities, organizing play dates, bathing, playing, outings, taking to baby groups, library etc.
I have experience of weaning including 'baby led weaning'
I enjoy cooking and like to offer new foods and recipes.
I am confident, adaptable, flexible and conscientious.
Happy to help with household tasks, administrative tasks. Flexible and hard working.

My Availability
I currently nanny all day Monday and after school on Wednesdays. I cannot commit to every Thursday after school as I regularly help my current family after school on those days. If you need a nanny for one or two whole or part days I may be able to help.
