About Me
I’m an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Rustington with my husband and our two children.
I offer a caring, homely environment for young children.
I have a large play room with an open kitchen/dining room, a separate sleep/rest room and a well enclosed back garden with a large log cabin which is an extra play area for the children as well as toy storage.
I have a good range of toys and equipment and the children in my care enjoy many different activities including arts and crafts, cooking, messy play, sand, water, musical movement, imaginary play, constructive and intellectual activities.
We also go on regular outings to music and play groups and often visit the local parks, library and shops.
My Experience
I have been looking after young children for 23 years, I am fully qualified in childcare and am first aid trained.
I attend First Aid training courses every 3 years and have completed other courses such as Child Abuse and Neglect and Basic Food Hygiene.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include;
National Vocational Qualification in Childcare and Education (NVQ) Level 2
National Vocational Qualification in Childcare and Education (NVQ) Level 3
Key skills level 2 (Modern Apprenticeship in Childcare and Education)
I.C.P (Introduction to Childcare practice).
