About Me
Hello ….. my name is Ronay and I provide a fun, friendly and safe family environment for the under fives! I’m a ‘natural’ around children and love watching them grow and achieve new things. I closely follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages) which enables me to encourage and help children towards their next developmental stages and goals. I believe all children are individuals and I work in partnership with parents in order to offer continuity of care. There is a wide selection of toys, books and creative art materials in my home which cater for children’s ages and personal interests. My garden is secure, child friendly and fully equipped for lots of outdoor fun! I attend various toddler groups and parks and meet up with other childminders to give children the opportunity to make friends and socialise with others. We also enjoy some pre-arranged trips out! My Experience
I’m an Ofsted registered childminder and a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years). I have been registered since 2005 and graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. I have 2 adult children of my own.
My Qualifications
I’m Paediatric First Aid trained and have attended many training courses over the past thirteen years (certificates can be viewed) covering many aspects of childcare. I have an enhanced police check and a clean driving licence.

Ronay has looked after both of my children; from under one, to the day they started school. At every age in between my children loved being with her; I felt absolutely confident in their safety, entertainment and education, and she exuded warmth and care.
Ronay is kind, thoughtful, experienced, nurturing, patient, sensible, funny, smart and energetic.
Putting my children in her care was one of the best decisions I have made and she has helped them develop wonderfully every step of the way.
They will never forget her and the memories they created together, and neither shall I.

Our daughter started with Roney when she was just under a year old. She was shy, and hadn't taken well to a nursery setting so we decided to look for a childminder instead. She instantly got on well with Ronay, and over the last 3 years of being in Ronay's care they developed a special bond. The combination of a comfortable family environment, excellent care and lots of fun with the other children has really helped our daughter to grown in confidence.
Ronay took the time to really get to know her character and brought out the best in her, encouraging her development.
As well as taking care of her so well she was excellent at communicating with us. The updates and photos really helped us to feel connected and involved.
We are very happy with the care that Ronay provided, and know that our daughter will miss her now she has started school.

Choosing somebody to care for the most precious thing in your world is almost impossible however leaving our son with Ronay was an easy decision. Ronay & her home is so welcoming that you instantly feel at ease & therefore so does your child.
Our son was with Ronay 2 days a week from when he was 6 months old until he started school in September. Ronay has helped ensure that our son was ready for the biggest change in his life. She has helped him develop all the skills he needs for the next stage in his development including basic numeracy & literacy including appreciation of stories, knowing letters, basic writing skills & possible even more importantly helped him become a confident, social & well rounded little person. We never had any tears at drop off on Ronay days.
I guess the only downside to your child being with Ronay is your child will idolise her almost as much as they idolise you!
