About Me
Hi, I am an Australian Nanny with over twenty years experience both here in the UK and in Australia, with Nanny shares, sole charge families and both live in and live out positions. I am currently looking after a seven year old and a nine year old, which I have done for the past seven years, since the seven year old was three months old. My position has changed to part time with hours that dont really suit me and my family anymore, so I am looking to start a new job from October 2023.
I have worked with children ranging from New born to 14 years. I have potty trained no less than ten children and I am confident with weaning (including self led weaning), sleep routines, healthy cooking, arranging play dates, attending classes (singing, swimming, playgroups) and general child related duties.
I am looking for a Live out position but I require full time hours or a minimum of 40hrs/week and I would prefer this to be with just one family but would consider split days. I am not interested in shares at this point in time as I also have my own daughter who will come to with me. I know that some parents may have concerns about this, but having a little friend around is beneficial to your child for socialising and development. As mentioned above, I have worked various nanny share roles, so I am use to looking after similar aged children. It is also beneficial to you as a family as you will pay a slightly reduced rate but your little one will recieve all the love, care and fun plus a playmate!
I enjoy travelling, cooking, sport, the outdoors and I have volunteered with St John Ambulance. I was OFSTED registered with a current DBS (CRB) but currently am not as my employer did not require this. I also have a full UK licence and my own car.
