I'm Julia, a fully qualified and 'GOOD' Ofsted Registered Childminder and university graduate living in the Sherborn Crescent area of Canford Heath. I live in a 4 bed house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with my husband (who is my registered assistant) and 2 boys aged 13 & 9. We enjoy a variety of fun activities at home and in the garden as well as getting out and about to local parks, toddler groups, library rhymetimes, heath and woodland walks, the beach and days out.
We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and safe home from home environment where each child has fun and reaches their full learning potential through a broad variety of play and experiences.
I hold a Cache Level 3 diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce, Pardiatric First Aid and regularly attend the Borough of Poole early years training sessions and various online training to keep my knowledge up to date.
We do an Ad Astra and Haymoor school drop off/pick up each day.
My Experience
Being a Mum to our 2 boys has provided me with a wealth of first hand experience in childcare.
I have been childminding for 9 years and have cared for children aged 4 months to 12 years, including many baby siblings of existing children.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.20 per hour
£5.20/hour (no charge for our holidays).
These fees include drinks and snacks. Hot healthy home cooked meals can be provided on request at a small extra charge.
All types of childcare vouchers accepted.
