About Me

Hello, my name is Kim, and I have been running my Ofsted-registered childminding business from home since February 2018.

Originally from Australia, I’ve been happily settled in the UK since 1998, where I now live permanently. My career journey has been wonderfully varied and has given me a wealth of experience to bring into my childcare setting. I previously worked with Social Services as a support worker and later with Surrey Police as a Community Support Officer. Since 2009, I have been self-employed, supporting families across Surrey in roles such as nanny, housekeeper, chef, mother’s help, and family support worker.

These experiences, alongside raising my own four children (now all grown up), have given me a deep understanding of children’s needs and development. I bring resourcefulness, creativity, and care into everything I do, and I take pride in creating a warm and nurturing space where children can thrive.

I offer a welcoming, home-from-home environment with a purpose-built cabin designed especially for the children. My setting also benefits from a large, secure garden, giving little ones plenty of space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors safely.

I am registered to provide Early Years and FEET funding, and I also accept Tax-Free Childcare.

Most importantly, I’m passionate about supporting children’s growth, learning, and happiness, and I look forward to welcoming new families into my childcare community.
