My Summary

My Experience

I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 26 years now and before that after college where I completed my NNEB qualification I worked in a private nursery for 13 years starting as a nursery nurse to room supervisor ,then onto management level . I enjoy the variation to each day this job brings with it ,as well as the opportunities that I have to watch and help children in my care grow and develop before they go onto nursery or school .I have looked after children from 3mths up to 11yrs during this time ,With most of these children starting as babies ,going right through to going to school and attending before and after school and during school holidays if needed .I care for children who require part time and fulltime hours subject to my availability .During the day I attend local playgroups as well as rhyme time sessions and soft play ,go to parks and libraries and offer a wide range of home based activities which are suitable for the children's ages and offer lots of varied experiences to encourage learning and development at each child's pace

My Qualifications

I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1990 (NNEB) and went on to work in private day nurseries starting as nursery nurse and working my way to room supervisor and then manager .When I had my second child I became a childminder and love the varied days with all the children in my care .I have references from previous parents which are available to read upon initial contact visit and you can read my latest Ofsted inspection online .We have two lovely dogs who are very well behaved and the children love spending time with them when we are home .I also have regular training in First aid and safeguarding as well as any other training I feel will benefit the children in my care and extend my knowledge in areas I feel is needed .

My Availability

I am available between the hours of 8am and 6pm and can offer all age groups of funded hours if you qualify as well as payment via the tax free childcare scheme . I can offer part time or fulltime hours depending on your requirements and also term time only or all year round care again as required .I am happy to arrange a visit to my setting to show you what I offer and answer any questions you may have .Please feel free to message to arrange a suitable time . I currently drop off at Kings Oak primary school in the mornings and collect from Christ Church primary school in the afternoon

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Childminding from £8.50 per hour

I cater for both full time and part time places and also offer term time only contracts for those that require them. I can offer all age groups of funding as well as payment via the tax free childcare scheme . We have two separate areas for the children to play in during the day and also have a garden for outside play. There is also a park right behind our house. We are approx. 10 mins away from Berrylands and New Malden train stations and less than 5mins away from the A3
