About Me

Hello, I’m Alfonzina (known as Sophia to my families), an experienced registered childminder based in Bishop’s Stortford.

I provide a calm, nurturing and thoughtfully structured home-from-home environment where children feel secure, valued and genuinely cared for. My setting offers consistency and routine, helping children settle quickly and build confidence, independence and strong early foundations.

I follow the EYFS framework and tailor activities to each child’s stage of development and interests. Our days include outdoor play, local outings, creative activities, sensory experiences and early language development in a relaxed and supportive environment.

I pride myself on building strong, professional partnerships with parents through clear communication and well-established boundaries from the outset. I am registered to accept funded hours, tax-free childcare and childcare vouchers.
