About Me

I have been a registered childminder for 30 years. I live in Great Park and have two daughters aged 30 and 27. My home has an open plan kitchen/play area/sitting room and double doors out into an enclosed garden for the children to play in. We go out most days to a variety of places including parks, softplay and toddler groups.
I have a little brown cocker spaniel called Daisy and she loves children!!
I like to give the children I care for a happy, safe and stimulating experience with the feeling of being home from home and always lots of cuddles!

My Experience

I have been childminding for 30 years and have brought up my own children.

My Qualifications

As well as a long list of training such as first aid, food hygeine and safeguarding children, I have also completed a Diploma in Home-based Childcare for which I received an A grade.

My Availability

I am available Tue-Thur 7.30am - 5.30pm excluding bank holidays.
I only care for pre-school children.

Ofsted Good Provider Logo
Good
30 April 2025
A recent inspection revealed both strengths and areas for improvement in this childcare setting. Children's confidence and happiness are prioritized, with attentive care and quick responses to their needs. A wide range of activities and outings support overall learning. While child development is well understood, better use of assessments could enhance learning plans. Independence is encouraged during play, but could be extended to routines. Parent feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
