Kind, flexible, caring, amazing all round

We employed Ann as a nanny for our two children (now 6 and almost 3). My son was incredibly anxious around anyone other than myself, my husband and our daughter after lockdown but he loved Ann from day 1, she made us all so comfortable. We also discovered hearing issues with our son shortly after Ann started with us and she has supported us and him through this. She's very thoughtful, always planning activities that both children really enjoy doing. Our daughter gets just as excited to share her reading and achievements from school with Ann as she does me, and my son gets grumpy if he hasn't had his usual days with Ann that week because one of us is on holiday. Our son is now going into pre-school to get him ready for the school year as we think this will be a difficult transition for him otherwise. If he wasn't going to pre-school, we'd have loved to keep Ann on board with our family for as long as she'd have us! Ann genuinely cares about the whole family and has a real special bond with the children, they're going to miss her a lot! I personally couldn't have got through the last couple of years without her. She's amazing. If you are thinking of introducing her into your family, I promise you won't be disappointed, it will be the best decision you make.

Kind, loving nanny. Highly recommend!

Ann nannied for our family for 3 years when our youngest daughter was just 3 years old and our eldest 5 years old. She showed our girls the same love, care and compassion any parent would and was also very competent when it came to teaching them good manners, acceptable behaviour and to be polite. We have remained great friends and the girls still run up to Ann to give her a hug whenever they can.
During her time with us Ann took the children to pre-school and school and to and from groups and extra-curricula clubs such as swimming, rainbows/brownies, dancing etc.
Ann organised lunches and dinners, preparing and cooking a variety of healthy, balanced meals that introduced the girls to new foods as well as serving up their firm favourites.
Ann would keep us abreast of school dates and important information and very ably helped us to keep organised in our busy lives.
Ann also has a dab sewing hand she put to good use sewing on many rainbow and brownie badges!
Ann generally helped around the house too, washing and ironing the girls’ clothes, changing their beds and, with them, tidying their rooms and the playroom and would often sift through toys weeding out those that they’d grown out of and rotating others to keep them interested and entertained. In addition Ann also made sure she found the time to dedicate to the girls’ reading, writing and homework when they started school.
Ann is incredibly reliable never having had a day off sick and was very flexible to meet our needs.
Both our girls are now at school and I would be very happy to have a conversation with any new prospective family for Ann to take care of should you wish too.

Excellent

Ann worked with our family for nearly 4 years and is everything you could want from a Nanny. Ann was, from the very beginning so warm and caring for our two children. She is a natural around children and is able to speak with them and coax them into doing anything they are being asked with so much patience. Firm but fair.
Ann was with us from when my son was around 3 and my daughter was 9 months old and helped me and the children transition back into work on an almost full time basis meaning that Ann very quickly became a member of our family. Ann helped my children with potty training, terrible twos, separation anxiety, learning to read and completing homework as well as many many school/nursery runs.
It's so comforting as a working mum to know that your children are being loved and cared for by such a professional and also personable care giver. Ann would come to our house in the morning and prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children, as well as bathing them and having them in their pajamas by the time I got home from work. Which was amazing as I could then spend quality time with them before bed.
Ann also helped me around the house when she could, putting the children's bedding in the wash and changing it for fresh and also the little things like unloading the dishwasher, or getting clothes in from the washing line, which Ann did not have to do but was always so willing to help in any way she could.
My experience of going back to work would have been completely different if we hadn't found Ann. She cared for my children when I couldn't and that is exactly what you look for in a Nanny.
We remain very close with Ann, her son and my children are firm friends. Ann still offers to help out whenever I may be in need or just when the children want a play date giving us the opportunity for a cup of tea and catch up.
Ann is an amazing trustworthy Nanny who never let us down in anyway. I would highly recommend Ann without hesitation to anyone looking for a Nanny.
