About Me
I am a 42 year old mum of three, i am a ofsted rated outstanding childminder, good 2010 outstanding in 2015 and outstanding 2022.
I have 3 children of my own 21 yr old daughter, 16 yr old son and 10 year old son so have lots of experience with children.
I hold a full driving liecence so we go out and about visiting lots of places most days.
I offer 9 months, 2 year old , 3- 4 yr old goverment funded sessions 15 and 30 call for more details.
I take childcare vouchers, government tax free and uni payments.
We take the children out in the environment to mix with other children and to gain a knowledge of the world around them, we do library visits so the children can learn to enjoy books and also take home to share with their parents. we go to childminder groups to meet up with other childminders and children.
we take full advantage of the sure start centres taking part in music groups and the sensory room and much more.
We do park visits, farm, cinema, bowling and much more so the children allways have plenty to do to keep them entertained.
I provide a warm and safe enviroment with a great range of toys available to the children of all age groups, allowing them to make choices for them selfs by having low level toy units with picture references. and make sure im up to date on all available trainning to me.
I work along side two assistants so we have more children than the average childminder that may only have 3/4 children.
My Experience
I previously worked at a play centre(chuckle city) when i was at college,I was a play coach/ children's party entertainer in 1998-1999.
I registered as a childminder in 2002 before having my first child, i did this till 2007.
As well as childminding i worked in a day nursery( Asquith- Basildon day nursery ) from 2005-2010,I did this for 5 years and undertook myNVQ lvl 3 nursery nurse qualification.
during my time as a nursery nurse i did all available trainning, that was offered to me, working with babies from 3 months to children aged 5 years.
While working as childminder i minded children in my own home for 2 years, before i decided I would like to get more experience and qualifications and moved on in the nursery field… which i did for 5 years before deciding to come back to childminding.
I provide good quilaty care for children aged 0-8, and deliver the eyfs frame work in my own safe loving enviroment.
I have now been minding again for the 2nd Time since september 2009 and feel its a well worth rewarding job, to make children feel safe and loved in a home environment. they can get the most of being in the great outdoors, meeting new ppl and getting a knowledge and understanding of the world around them.

My son has been going to Bee Happy since he was 9 months old and absolutely loves going there. They do so many different fun activities such as going to the farm, park and riding on the bus, just to name a few. All the staff who work there are warm and welcoming. Since being with Bee Happy my son’s speech and social skills have developed so much. So happy to have found this childcare setting.

My little girl had been to two previous settings (a childminder and nursery) and it just wasn’t the right fit! She has been here for over a year and a half now and I do not believe anything in this area compares! They get to experience so much going out on trips constantly whether it be to the farm, library, soft play, ferry or parks etc. My little girl is always experiencing new things and being taught so much. Kirsty is literally like a second mum to her and Gigi adores her and the other ladies who work with Kirsty. Amazing setting with incredible staff ❤️

I have 3 children that attend Bee Happy Childcare, all since they were 9 months old. They have flourished under Kirsty's care and enjoy going out, learning and having fun at the childminders. Couldn't rate her high enough!!
They enjoy amazing days out, individualised learning, SEN support and have been taught amazing social skills, I am blessed to have found them a home away from home.
