Hello! I’m a fully registered childminder based in a quiet cul-de-sac in Lostock Hall, where I live with my husband, our two daughters, and our two small, friendly dogs.
I offer a welcoming, home-from-home environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to learn through play. My setting is designed to support each child’s development at their own pace, building confidence, independence, and curiosity.
I have a secure garden that can be enjoyed all year round, giving children daily opportunities for outdoor play, exploration, and fresh air—whatever the weather.
I’m passionate about getting children out into the world around them. We regularly enjoy trips to local parks, nature reserves, and, when we can, the beach. We also attend a range of playgroups and play centres, helping children build social skills and friendships.
I work closely with a small network of trusted local childminders, allowing children to mix in wider groups and experience different social settings in a familiar, supportive way.
I am OFSTED registered and was graded GOOD at my most recent inspection (October 2024). All adults in my household are fully DBS.
I accept government-funded childcare and a variety of childcare payment options.

My Experience
I hold NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Childcare and have over 25 years of experience working with children.
Throughout my career, I have mainly worked with babies and toddlers (0–2 years), as well as school-aged children in after-school settings. My last nursery role was as a supervisor in a 1–2-year-old room, where I supported children through key early developmental stages.
I have now been a childminder for 16 years, a role I genuinely love. Supporting children as they grow, learn, and develop their own personalities is incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in creating a nurturing and positive environment for every child in my care.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I charge £45 a day 7.30 - 5.00pm inc meals and snacks.
Friday til 4pm £40
Morning or afternoon sessions may be considered
