My Summary

My Experience

I have been working with children since the age of 15, I was given the opportunity to be part of the volunteering team to look after a group children between the age of 5 and 10 during summer school, for the duration of 3 weeks in 2007. However, the experience repeated itself every summer for 4 years, until summer 2012.
The following was our daily routine from Monday to Friday:
In the mornings, I worked with them on different activities such as; acting, drawing, singing and dancing.
In the afternoons, I would give them snack followed by a group dance, and then they had the option to either play beach volley or football according to each child preference until 5pm (pick up time).
The listed above are some of the unforgettable moments I shared with the children. All of these activities were in preparation towards a final wonderful end of summer school show for parents to assist after our 3 weeks together of summer school.

In addition to that, once a week during that time, we also had one full day trip to a swimming pool park on a weekly basis where fun was guaranteed.

That was just the beginning of my 'career' working with children. After that experience, I started working as a part time baby sitter, live in/out Nanny. I took care of two lovely brothers of the age of 5 and 6. I had to cook for them, help them with their homework, take them to swimming, park, bicycle ride as well as going to the cinema occasionally. I always enjoyed spending time with them when both parents were out for a night out.
Our evening routine was as follows: getting them ready for bed after going them dinner and a bath, reading them a story book in bed before putting them to bed are some good memories. Driving their dads car to go out on our own while he was out of the country for work was permitted by the children mother as she trusted me.
Another wonderful experience I had was here in London, two lovely brothers of the age of 7 and 8, as a live in Au pair/Nanny I performed the same duties as mentioned above and on top of that, I had to take get the children ready and take them to school and pick them up.

I love Children and I have always loved to work with them. I had the great part of being the big sister role to play therefore, changing babies nappies, bathing them and taking care of them has never been a problem if not making me happy.

My Qualifications

DBS, 12 hours paediatric first aid course and Common core skills & Knowledge.
Postgraduate certificate in Children and young people's world.

Available for an Immidaite start.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)

£15/20 per hour
