My name is Katie I’m currently waiting my pre reg Ofsted to become a childminder opening Sept/Oct 2026
I live In upper cambourne with my husband, and three boys all school age.
I have a spacious home, a playroom with a variety of educational and play based toys and a large garden with a trampoline, mud kitchen, water play, ride on toys and many more.
Activities are prepared following the children's interests and needs. I will be covering all seven areas of learning through
Play.
Our weekly routine will include trips to the local library, toddler groups, walks to the local parks, lakes and to explore our beautiful local surroundings.
My passion for childcare is deeply rooted in my own experience as a parent. I understand the importance of creating a safe, engaging, and supportive space for children to grow and thrive. I bring warmth, creativity, and dedication to every role, and I’m committed to helping children feel happy, confident, and cared for.
My Experience
I am a dedicated and nurturing childcare professional with over 17 years of experience supporting the growth and development of children in both nursery and private family settings . My journey began in a nursery environment, where I built a solid foundation in early years education, and continued as a nanny, working closely with families to provide consistent, loving care tailored to each child’s needs.
