About Me

Hello!
I am a highly experienced Nanny in Greenwich (SE10) looking for a local family 3 or 4 days a week. My daughter is 2 and comes as part of the package, along with my tiny dog (please see below).
We are currently ‘Nanny sharing’ with another family in the afternoons (which potentially ends in September) and the 2 girls (mine & theirs) get on great! It’s so lovely for them to have a playmate.
I would need to be based in your home due to insurance reasons, but I am allowed to be in my own home for up to 2 hours a day, so if you are working from home or just need need space, I have a house full of toys and a secure garden.
I like to get out with the children as much as possible…e.g the park/playgrounds and farm depending on the weather, groups, softplay, and museums.
I don’t have any of my documents uploaded, but will happily share them privately if you think the above arrangement might be of interest to you.

My usual profile reads....

I'm looking for a new family who will also welcome my small dog who is a registered Therapy Dog for Great Ormond Street Hospital. He has been a huge part of the last 3 families I have worked for and everyone adores him. He was especially close and amazing with the little boy I cared for from newborn till 5 years old who has speech delay and some other yet undiagnosed learning difficulties.

Growing up with a dog can enrich the lives of children in many ways.

Dogs also help to protect against childhood infection by boosting their immune system and children who grow up with dogs have less risk of allergies and asthma.

SREAD THE WORD: GROWING UP WITH PETS IS A GOOD THING

I am looking for a 4 day position with reasonable hours. I currently work 4 days (Mon-Thurs) 08:00-18:00 and I’m At GOSH once a week (currently a Friday).

I have been a Nanny for a long time & want a family who will respect that I also have my own life to live. I go above and beyond most expectations for my families and I have fantastic references which I am very proud of.

I feel that it is very important to encourage children to learn through direct experience in an environment that is safe, secure and stimulating. An environment that provides a sensible balance between flexible and structured routine.
Activities, outings and learning through play gives the opportunity to develop lively inquisitive minds through exploration, discovery and enjoyment.
Each child is valued as an individual and I encourage them to be independent within the boundaries of safety and acceptable behaviour.
I aim for them to develop positive attitudes and to learn to have respect for themselves, others and the environment.
It is important to me to help promote confidence, self-discipline, good social skills and the value of courtesy & good manners.
I encourage sensible eating habits as part of nutritional education and try to provide a healthy balanced diet.
I aim for the days to be disruptive free - allowing for a continuation of play, development, fun and rest.
I like to work closely with parents/guardians to ensure that everyone is happy. It is very important to have mutual respect in this personal yet professional relationship to ensure that things run smoothly for everyone involved.

My Experience

I am a non-smoking, responsible, reliable, committed, caring, creative, fun & active individual. I aim to provide a happy & stimulating environment full of positive experiences.
I have a full clean licence
I am Ofsted registered (voluntary register)
I have a DBS Enhanced Disclosure
I am a PACEY member
I have Paediatric First Aid training
As part of my role at GOSH, I also have training in Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessment.
