The Absolute Best!

We have been with Michaela for over three years now and it’s the best thing we have ever done for our children. She has become our family and we are so grateful for everything she has done for us.

Our eldest daughter started with Michaela when she was about 7 months old and it took no time at all for her to willingly want to go into Michaela’s arms each morning. She made the settling in process so comfortable and reassuring. Now, both our girls run into her home each morning without ever looking back to say goodbye. They absolutely love her!

We know our girls are in the best hands and it is so comforting to know that they are 100% safe, cared-for and being loved like they are her own children.

Michaela takes the kids out most days on adventures to different playgroups, signing and reading time at the library, to the museum and to the park. The girls often come home with wonderful artwork they’ve created and stories about the fun day they’ve had. I am completely blown away by the development I’ve seen in both our girls throughout the years. Michaela has definitely had a big part to play in this.

We could not recommend Michaela more highly. She is one of the most generous people we know and we feel so lucky to have her part of our lives!

Our favourite “kaela”

We started our son full time with Michaela when he was just 10 months old, following a recommendation from close friends - and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made.

From the very first settling-in sessions, Michaela made the transition feel genuinely effortless. She has a natural warmth and calm that put both our son and us at ease, and I was able to return to work with real confidence knowing he was happy and in safe hands.

The impact on his development has been remarkable. His vocabulary grows week on week, and he regularly surprises us with new words and phrases. Michaela keeps him engaged with a lovely range of activities -trips to the library, local parks and playgroups as well as art’s & crafts - and we treasure the photos and videos she sends throughout the week. It gives such wonderful peace of mind to see him thriving.

Most of all, our son absolutely adores her. Michaela has become so much more than a childminder to our family -she feels like a true extension of our parenting bubble, someone we trust completely with the person we love most. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Exceptional Care For Our Daughter

We sent our daughter (Maya) to Michaela when she was 1 year old. We had concerns about Maya for the first time, however Michaela made it a very easy for her to settle in. You have the opportunity to stay with your child for as long required however Maya loved it from day one!
Micheala is very conscientious and caring who looks after the children she looks after as though they are her own. She would take Maya out every day (weather permitting) to local parks, playgroups and local city farms which she really enjoyed. Her apartment is very clean, tidy and has lots of toys, colouring etc to entertain children.
Maya became very good friends with the other children she looks after as well as Michaela's family who are all extremely friendly and welcoming.
You do have to provide lunch for Maya however Michaela provided snacks and would make sure Maya was fed if she didn't eat what we provided.
Maya is now 2 and a half and we have moved out of the area, so unfortunately we could no longer take her to Michaela otherwise she would still be there! I would highly recommend Michaela who is also excellent value compared to other childminders in the area.
