About Me
I am 46yrs old lady who lives with my husband, son and dog. I have been childminding now for over 21 years and think of the children in my care as extended family. While children are in my setting they are encouraged to grow and develop to the best of their ability. I have a large garden with sand play, cars and bikes, slide and ball games etc. We love to do arts and crafts, painting, drawing, baking and have a wide range of toys to play with. I work with the children to get them ready for nursery/school. We work on making positive relationships with others and how to behave appropriately in our surroundings.
My Experience
After finishing my nursery nurse training I nannied for a few years before starting my own family.
I have now been childminding for over 21 years and have helped develop and care for many children in this time.
My Qualifications
BTEC in caring services (nursery nursing)
Pediatric first aid
Child protection awareness
Introduction to signs and symbols
Supporting children with speech, language and communication needs.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday 7am -8pm
and do occasional weekends and later evenings/over night stays.
