Hello I’m Julie
Ofsted registered nanny. I presently work for 2 different families with children ranging from the ages 2 to 5years.
Having worked with children for the past 25 years from the ages of 0 up to 14 and having 2 children myself aged 24 and 22 I like to think I have a good knowledge of children within those age ranges. I have previously worked the framework known as the EYFS and have attended training in subjects such as behaviour management, child protection and many other play based activities that link with the foundation stage.
I take great pleasure in helping children to grow and achieve in everything they do, I'm very caring and very loving to the children and very loyal to the family as a whole.
Im very happy with being in the home environment . I’m happy to help out walking family pets and not afraid to put the washing on the line and put the hoover round! At the present time I work for 2 families, looking after two children aged 3 and 5 Tuesday and Wednesday (for the last 4 months)and 1 child who’s 3 on a Thursday and Friday. ( for the past 3 years) From September 2024 onward I’ll be available on Mondays and Possibly Thursdays. In my spare time I like to be social with friends and family and when I get chance i enjoy reading.
I especially enjoy reading to younger children as I know how important this is. Swimming is another great pleasure. I like to see children socialise and make friends and love to take them to groups to enhance their socialisation.
I prefer to work within the Exeter area and although I have a car I try hard to keep things local and not be car dependant.
Recently I got married and my name has changed however this site won’t let me change my name at present .
I'm a very happy person who's happy to muck in where needed and usually helps out beyond what is asked for. I am very dependable I hope that you will give me the opportunity to meet with you and hear from others what I am like as a person. I look forward to meeting you.
Please note that I can only work full days. I don’t offer before and after school only. However I will do cleaning shopping etc during those times.

I am employed at present by 2 families.
I was Ofsted inspected in 2018 and 2020 and i am compying with the requirements for registration .

NVQ level 3 qualified. I have had previous training in behaviour management, health and safety and safe guarding.
