About Me
I am a Ofsted registered childminder who has spaces available from September 2026 (Wednesday and Thursday Space). I have been working within childcare for the past 14 years with ages 6 months - 8 years, and as part of this have been a childminder for the past 9 years.
I charge £66.50 a day (8am - 5.30pm). AM snack and PM snack are provided but I ask that you provide lunch and dinner for your child.
Throughout the week we go on various different outings such as; toddler groups, parks, library visits, beach, woods etc. I also have a secure garden at my house with mud kitchen, water tray, scooters/bikes and lots of outdoor toys!

Level 3 in children's and young people's workforce.

- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
£66.50 a day, £7 an hour for non funded hours.

Kate has looked after our daughter a few days a week for the last couple of years. We have nothing but the upmost praise for her and can't thank her enough for everything she has done for our daughter since she joined her at aged one and a half. Kate is a happy, stable person with a sense of calmness and fun. All the children seem to love her and having met her with other children on our daughter's days off - she has a 'Pied Piper' effect as they all listen carefully and fall in happily, in getting about play and activities. Kate has all the relevant qualifications and qualities to be a childminder and run her business safely and professionally. She provides lots of stimulating and nurturing activities and experiences for the children indoors and outdoors. Our daughter has flourished in her care and made a steady group of little friends with the other children.
Our daughter is quite sensitive and also rambunctious, but we are able to go to work safe in the knowledge that Kate values and manages all the children's different personalities, and that out daughter is expertly cared for: delighted in, carefully and gently guided, and happy. It's a great feeling to pick or daughter up and be greeted by a happy, smiling face full of chatter about their day. All the other parents at Kate's express the same sentiments and we all feel lucky to have found her. As our daughter 'graduates' today, we would like to express our thanks to Kate and would strongly recommend her to anyone wanting childminder care - if she has spaces!

Kate has been looking after my 9 month old and we are both delighted! She is responsible, well-organized and attentive to our needs. He loves going to her and sometimes doesn’t want to leave!! I’m really grateful to have found her - she is truly wonderful :)
