About Me

I am a highly experienced, caring and enthusiastic childcare professional with over 15 years’ experience working with children of all ages. I am trustworthy, reliable, organised and responsible, but most importantly, I genuinely love working with children and take great pride in providing a safe, happy and nurturing environment where they can thrive.
As a mum to two girls myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with your children. I know that every family is different, and I always take the time to understand each child’s individual personality, interests, routines and needs. Building a strong and trusting relationship with both the children and their parents is extremely important to me.

I enjoy making every day fun, varied and stimulating. I like to plan activities around the children’s interests, including arts and crafts, baking and cooking, educational outings, sports, swimming, outdoor activities and age-appropriate learning. I believe children learn best when they are having fun, and I love creating opportunities for them to develop their confidence, independence and creativity.

I am naturally very organised and punctual, and I understand the importance of maintaining routines while also being flexible when needed. I am confident managing busy family schedules and making sure children are well cared for, happy and engaged throughout the day.

I am a fit, energetic and healthy person and enjoy encouraging children to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. I regularly attend my local CrossFit gym and have recently taken part in competitions. I also love cooking and am very happy to prepare fresh, healthy and nutritious meals for the children in my care.

I currently work at St Michael’s Prep, where I support children with their learning and development. I am confident helping with schoolwork and homework, as well as supporting younger children with their early years learning and introducing them to the foundations of the curriculum.

Over the course of my career, I have gained a wide range of experience through roles including Nanny, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), Personal Assistant and Cabin Crew. These positions have given me excellent communication, organisational and people skills, as well as the ability to remain calm, professional and adaptable in any situation.

Qualifications & Additional Information
Over 15 years’ childcare experience
Paediatric First Aid qualified
Child Protection Level 1 & 2 / EYFS training
Up-to-date DBS/CRB check
Full clean driving licence
Non-smoker
Experienced in supporting schoolwork, homework and early years learning
Previous experience as a Nanny and HLTA
Previously Ofsted registered, depending on individual family requirements
Confident and experienced swimmer
Happy to prepare healthy, nutritious meals
Active, energetic and health-conscious
I am passionate about providing children with the care, encouragement and positive experiences they need to grow into happy, confident and independent young people.
