About Me

I am a Wanstead based Childminder (17 years experience), looking to provide your family with the quality service you child needs.
You will have piece of mind to start your day knowing that your precious child is having a fabulous time in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Your childās needs and interests will dictate the activities that take place each day, and we will include daily trips outdoors to the woods, park or local playgrounds.
The setting boast a playroom, where children can access toys and equipment that will provide opportunities to learn through play. We are fortunate to have the support of 2 experienced assistants, providing a high adult child ratio.
Your child will have the opportunity to use the garden daily as well as weekly trips to local playground & parks.
References available on request.
Full & Term time only places available
Also 15 & 30 hours funded places available.

Our daughter started going to Janice when she was 6 months old. She's our first child so we didn't have a clue and were quite nervous!
Janice was so wonderful. Helping us get organised with regular naps and feeding. Lots of tips for helping her development and taking her out and about every single day.
The setting is really small and genuinely feels like a lovely little extended family. Janice is so good with the kids and they love her and love going in each day.
We were so lucky to have found her.

Thank you for the glowing review, honestly it was a pleasure working in partnership with your family. With such a curious & adventurous baby, my job was pretty easy.
Our youngest has been going to Janice for a little over a year now and he loves going to her. She is caring and creative and takes the children on fun outings. Janice really knows my son and has great communication with us about him, she is always open and transparent. We are very happy with her!

When it comes to leaving your children with someone you always want to find the right fit , in this case two of my boys one which has ADHD, Janice was amazing in caring for both of them , I could tell from the way the spoke of herš„° And many times wanted to stay longerš . I definitely use her services again and recommend to friends and family if they need a childminder.

Our son has been with Janice for a couple of years, we feel so lucky to have found her. Janice is kind, calm, very reassuring for both parents and children and really cares about the kids. She plans loads of activities so it always feels like they're out and about doing interesting things. They're frequently out in nature enjoying themselves and our son comes home with lots of baking/arts and crafts he's done as well. We get daily written updates of what he's been up to. She communicates well in advance any dates the setting is closed for holidays and is extremely reliable. He and we have really enjoyed having him there and the only reason we will be leaving is him starting school full time. I can wholeheartedly recommend Janice and her setting.

I cannot recommended the childcare received highly enough.
A warm nurturing environment which my children loved attending, giving me piece of mind to go off to work, knowing they were in good hands.
The children thrived in this setting and developed confidence and a sense of independence that no nursery could match.
We were in tears when we moved away, because we knew we would struggle to find such a warm and friendly Childminder again.
