Loving experienced Nanny/Maternity Nurse with 30 years experience, qualified, Paediatric First Aid certificate, DRB checked. Hi everyone, I'm Kerry. I have vast experience working with children from new-born up to teenage, have done long term posts and many temporary posts, to include proxy parenting, night Nannying, Maternity Nanny/Nursing, babysitting and more recently a lot of work for the Social Services, working with challenging families. I have also worked with children in the care of the local authority. I am organised ( usually! ) and work well on my own initiative. I am a no nonsense person, there aren't many things I haven't seen over the years! I have high values but am also very loving and affectionate. I have worked in nurseries but my heart lies in Nannying as I am a homely person. I usually have my posts for a large number of years, my last at two and a half years being my shortest. I can settle in to my role believing that childcare is a shared role between parents and Nanny built on mutual respect and understanding. It is not always about if the Nanny is right for the family but also if the family are right for the Nanny, as you will become my family also. I am also available for babysitting.
