Childminder in Lordswood
My Summary
About Me
I have been a registered Childminder since September 2010.
I live in Lordswood with my husband and 3 daughters one of which was born in 2008, one in 2012 and the youngest born 2017.
We have a fun, loving home with includes a big garden to enable children to learn and develop in my care. In May 2021 we built a log cabin at the bottom of the garden specifically to be used for Childminding.
I work with 2 assistants who are highly qualified, they are also both mums so have plenty of experience of working with children and raising their own. My third assistant has recently passed her level 2 qualification in childcare.
We love to be out and about in the community with the children. We have a private dance session weekly with a qualified dance teacher, we interlink the dances/songs we do with our themes. We also attend a mother and toddler group and the local library and soft play as part of our weekly routine. As well as visiting local parks and woodlands
We are working towards the Medway Healthy Early Years Award, part of the award is growing fruit and vegetables with the children and including phyiscal activities within our daily routines as well as offering guidance and support around healthy eating and oral health.
I currently drop off and collect from St Benedict's School, we walk to school as I live less than 5 minute walk. I also offer school holiday care to those whom I provide wrap around care for.
