Hi,
As of August 2023 I will have a full day space Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. And some afternoon spaces too. All for under 5’s.
I am Fiona and I am a 30 year old registered childminder. I have been a childminder since 2020 and took a great amount of previous experience with me too. I also have my own 3 year old son who has given me plenty practice as well!
As a childminder I aim to give children a home from home experience. I enjoy being outdoors, going for walks and exploring or heading to the park. Quiet time in the house is also important so that children can recharge and use their imagination for free play.
I can do drop off and pick up from Walker Road primary.
I have a car which will be used for childminding.

My Experience
I have a variety of experiences, I have worked with children of all ages from newborn up to young adults. I have my own 3 year old son also. Before having my son I worked with autistic children in a residential school which was challenging but very rewarding. I have worked in a nursery for a year where I was the room supervisor. There, I worked with children up to 5 years old on a daily basis and provided many learning experiences for those children depending on their individual needs.
I worked as a nanny for 3 years for a few families, so I am used to being busy and getting stuck in. I was required to provide them with stimulating activities to do, prepare meals, do laundry, and also keep their home clean and tidy.
My Qualifications
I have completed the Introduction to Childminding Course. I have up to date first aid training, child protection training, and food hygiene. I previously qualified as a childrens nurse. I am pvg registered.
My Availability
I am available from 7.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
