My Experience

I worked in a private daycare nursery for 4 years as a senior Nursery Officer and worked throughout the nursery with children aged from 3 months 5 years old. I also have 3 years experience from placements I did during my studies, from nursery to primary school.

I was also a leader at my local rainbows group when I lived in Whitley Bay but had to give it up because of work hours and because I moved to Gateshead.

My Qualifications

I have a BA (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I have up to date certificates in first aid training for adults, children and babies, health and safety training, child protection training and food hygiene training. I have also done training in baby sign when I worked at the nursery. I also have a level 3 diploma in supporting teaching and learning in schools.

My Availability

I currently do a school drop off/pick up at Brighton Avenue Primary School in Gateshead. I work all year round and take 6 set weeks off a year, unpaid, during school holidays. From September 2025, I will have 1 space available for under 3 years, available Tuesday to Friday. I offer the 30 hours funding from 9 months to 3 years. Also available for school drop off and pick up.

My Fees

• Childminding from £5.00 per hour

I charge £5 per hour. This will include snacks where needed. I can do breakfast, lunch and an evening meal for £2 per meal. I am open between 7:30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.
