About Me
I am a Ofsted registered Childminder based in Shepperton Surrey with over 7 years experience.
I was graded ‘Good’ in my last inspection which was carried out in Jan 2017.
I've cared for children in one capacity or another from the age of 14, baby sitting, assisting at youth clubs, children's groups such as Rainbows and also toddler groups.
I am currently on the committee for my local NCT branch and organise a weekly toddler group for the charity.
As well as this, I have 3 children of my own.
We have a very bright, comfortable family home which encourages free play and self expression with plenty of educational resources, art and craft material and dressing up clothes.
We have a large garden with a small play house, sand/water table, slide, trampoline with safety net and ride/push along toys.
We have an active routine visiting regular play groups, music and movement classes and messy-play groups as well as sensory play facilities, soft plays, gardens, farms, and play grounds.
We make full use of all the wonderful resources that are available at the setting too and therefore we really do make the most of each and every day, come rain or shine!
I am a keen cook and enjoy sharing my passion for food with the children in my care, with this in mind we do lots of baking, everything from cakes to bread, pies and pizzas and the children enjoy cooking activites where they will help me to shop for ingredients for that evenings meal and perhaps even help to prepare and cook too :) this really helps any fussy eating phases that they might be going through.
We have a well balanced diet where the children are offered cereals, Wholemeal toasts and fruit for breakfast, sandwiches with salad, soups, loaded potato's or similar for lunch and a healthy dinner each day along with two or three healthy snacks. We also enjoy the odd treat now and then!
My aim is to be surrounded by happy contented little people who feel safe in a loving, nurturing and inspiring environment.

My Experience
I have always been involved with the care of children, whether it was looking after my own siblings, baby sitting for family, friend and teachers or helping out at my local youth club, rainbows or even in the school playground.
I love the energy, imagination and light that children bring.
I have three beautiful children of my own who teach me something new on a daily basis.
I have more than six years experience working as an Ofsted registered childminder and recieved a 'Good' grading at inspection in January 2017.
I have completed a ChIP course with Surrey County
, hold a Safeguarding Certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate and current Advanced CRB check.
I am a strong believer in continuing to educate yourself and sign up regularly to various training that is available from Surrey for childminders and hope in the future to complete a NVQ level 3 in Childcare.
My Qualifications
I am Ofsted Registered
Passed my 'ChIP' course (Child-minding introduction program) where I studied the EYFS as well as the Statutory Frame Work for Early Years. I Hold a current Safeguarding certificate
and a Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
My Availability
My setting is open from 7am-6pm in term time only. Please contact me directly to see if I have availability on the days you require support with childcare.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
All fees are inclusive of healthy meals and snacks, and entry into groups, soft plays and any other outings that we go on.
I accept childcare vouchers and am registered to provide 30 hours of funded childcare.

I honestly couldn’t be happier that I found Dani! My daughter started with Dani at 8 months old, and had it not been for Dani, I don’t know how I would have coped with going back to work! If it weren’t for moving out of the area, my younger daughter would absolutely have been going to Dani, no questions asked!
A day at Dani’s is always full of magical adventures and I would always look forward to pick up time and hearing about their day.
Dani’s firm but fair approach is something I have personally taken on at home, along with recognising good and bad choices. There is a clear mutual respect between Dani and the children, and each child I have observed in Dani’s care have a loving relationship with her.
You will struggle to meet anyone as kind and caring as Dani, not only towards the children, but also towards the parents. As a mum herself, she understood the struggle in going back to work after having a baby, and always made sure I was sent updates about my daughters day, but would also check in on me, just to make sure I was doing okay. She will always make that extra special effort for your child, whether that be for their birthday, or even just because she can!
Every child that Dani looks after becomes part of the family. I will be forever thankful for finding Dani. Not only has she been a huge part in my daughters life, she has become a huge part of mine and is unbelievable friend.
As a family, I can say we all love Dani and I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dani has made going back to work so much easier for me. I was so nervous going back to work but my daughter loves her time there and really is welcomed in like part of the family. Their days are filled with fun and a great balance of activities. Dani radiates kindness and has a lovely warm home from home setting, I can't recommend her enough.

One of the most caring and thoughtful people I know, I’m so grateful and lucky to have found her. Knowing she is taking care of my children has made my transition back to work easier. She currently looks after my 3 year old and 1 year old. They both love her setting, especially all her amazing toys and fancy dress which she regularly rotates around. They are always socialising with other children within the setting and in the various children’s groups she takes them too. She manages to pack so much in!
Dani always goes the extra mile, whether it be cooking their favourite food or organising a particular activity they enjoy. She even threw a birthday party for my youngest when she turned one.
Dani has a kind, caring and gentle approach with my children but will talk about good and bad choices when they need reminding. From what I have observed all the children in her setting respect and listen to her.
Dani communicates really well and sends us regular updates throughout the day.
She is a fantastic childminder in every respect. My children love her and I would wholeheartedly recommend her.
