My name is Vanna, and I am a caring, reliable and experienced childminder dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing , and stimulating environment for children. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and reassured when leaving their children in someones else's care , and i take great pride in creating a "home from home" setting where every child feels valued and supported.I provide a safe, clean and secure setting following all guidelines to ensure high standards of care
I offer a warm, family-friendly setting where children can learn, play and grow at their own pace. Every day is filled with a variety of fun and educational activities from creative play and outdoor adventures that encourage children's curiosity.
I encourage positive behaviour, good manners , and social skills, while helping children become confident and independent. I also work closely with parents sharing regular updates througout our days adventures.
We are members of Hertfordshire Zoo and love to visit regulary. I do ask if parents can provide a pass for their child when they reach the age of 2 so they can join in the fun
Your childs safety, well being and happiness are my highest priorities.
Ofsted have inspected numerous times over the years of childminding and i have always attained a “Good” grading.Last Inspection February 2025 Graded Good

I honestly couldn’t recommend Vanna enough 🤍
Leaving your baby with someone from such a young age is one of the hardest things as a parent. My daughter started with Vanna at just 9 months old, and as you can imagine I was so nervous; they’re so little at that age and need constant care, attention, and love.
Vanna came highly recommended to me, and I was told I’d love her within seconds… and that couldn’t have been more true.
She is genuinely one of the kindest, calmest, most nurturing people I’ve ever met. The way she speaks to the children is so soft and reassuring, and you can just feel how safe and cared for they are in her presence.
My daughter absolutely adores her. There was even a moment where I knocked on the door and she wanted to go straight to Vanna instead of me(!), and as a mum that says everything. That level of trust and comfort doesn’t happen unless someone is truly incredible.
They’re always out doing lovely activities and going to different places, and I get updates throughout the day which gives me so much reassurance. Vanna never minds messages, is always responsive and just takes everything in her stride, no matter how chaotic life with little ones can be!
I am very particular about who looks after my children (I wouldn’t even leave them with some friends!), so the fact that my daughter goes to Vanna four days a week and has done since she was so young says it all.
She is reliable, caring, patient, and honestly an absolute angel for what she does.
If you’re looking for someone to trust with your child, Vanna is that person. I recommend her all day, every day 🤍

Vanna is most caring, attentive childminer I ever met. She's very well organised, super clean and reliable. I'm honoured by the way she treats mine and other children. Outstanding values and care given to children. Vanna not only take care of the children but also educate them and support them on every step. She's simply amazing!

I couldn’t be happier with the care my daughter receives from Vanna. As a parent of a 2-year-old, I was naturally very nervous about leaving her with someone new, but she made the entire process so easy and reassuring from the very beginning.
My daughter absolutely loves going and gets so excited every time—it really shows how comfortable and happy she is there. It gives me such peace of mind knowing she is in such a warm, caring, and nurturing environment.
She always goes above and beyond, planning so many fun activities and outings that keep the children engaged, learning, and developing. It’s clear how much effort and love she puts into her work.
I truly couldn’t recommend her enough—she is amazing at what she does and has made such a positive impact on both me and my daughter.

Vanna looked after my LG from 9 months to 3 years old, and she now looks after my LB. There was no doubt in my mind that when I fell pregnant again, Vanna would be the one to look after my LB. Vanna has beautiful, kind nature, my children absolutely adore her and so do I. It's hard going back to work and leaving littles but Vanna makes it so much easier. Vanna provides a safe place to learn and have lots of fun, from play groups, to the zoo nowhere goes unmissed. Thank you for all that you do! X

So i found Vanna from a local baby group i used to take my little one before i went back to work. What drew me to her, firstly how she looked after the children she was looking after and how friendly and approachable she was.
When my daughter started with her, her house always seems a friendly and a safe space to be in. So would highly recommend
