About Me

Hello, my name is Heather. I have worked within Childcare and Early Years for 13 years, most recently as an Early Years Lecturer for College and University students. I am now looking to get back into practice and would am looking to support children in their development and learning.
I have an wire ranging skills and knowledge of child development, as well as teaching experience. I hold a degree in Early Years and Masters in International Education Studies.
Prior to lecturing, I worked as a nursery Room Leader for children aged 16-24 months, and have experience with young babies and pre-school aged children also. I also supported a family in caring for their two young children also and have experience of working with children with SEN on a 1:1 basis.

I am available for the following:

- regular childcare between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm
- support for children preparing to go to school (1:1 pre-school learning sessions)
- care of newborns and young babies/mother's help and support
