My journey into childcare began 28 years ago working at a local crèche in Richmond. For nearly three decades, caregiving has been my true passion. I pride myself on maintaining fantastic, long-term relationships with families, and I still stay in touch with many of the children I have raised over the years.

My Experience
As a mother of two and also over twenty eight years of childminding experience I am confident that I can offer a safe and happy environment for children, I believe children are all individual and learn from them daily, in order to meet their needs and those of their parents.
My Qualifications
I am fully qualified in first aid for the early years, a fully qualified childminder and am Ofsted registered with good safeguarding knowledge
My Availability
I am available five days a week for day care and to collect and care for children from Marshgate Primary School, East Sheen Primary School, Thompson House Primary School, Monkey Puzzle and Top of the class nursery
My Fees
- Childminding from £15.00 per hour
I charge a daily rate to be discussed depending on circumstances

Abi provides amazing childcare, for our son loves her.

My daughter started to visit Abi five years ago after school and left only when she finished primary school.
We were very happy with the care Abi provided and my daughter misses her a lot even now, as she had ability to stay not far from the school, have a rest and lunch, make new friends and have a good time in a safe and loving space.
I highly recommend Abi, I was always calm and confident knowing that my daughter is with Abi, so I can concentrate and do my work.

Our son went to Abi's after school last year. He really enjoyed his afternoons there and Abi always made sure he had a choice of his favourite foods for dinner! We found Abi very caring, reliable and great at communicating, and she has a great selection of toys plus a great garden for the summer afternoons. Unfortunately we are unable to use Abi's childminding service this year due to a change of school - although our son still comments on how much he misses going to Abi's house!

My daughters aged 6 and 8 went to Abi's for a year. She was so good with them, and initially shy, they grew really fond of her and her two lovely cats luna and bomber. they looked forward to their time there, and even now, they ask if they can go once again to Abi's house after school, although we have moved.
We miss you a lot Abi.

My son was looked after by Abby for two years but we sadly had to stop using her services at the end of this school year as he was moving to a different school. He adored Abby (and her gorgeous and child-friendly cats). You will be missed. Thank you for two memorable years xxxx

My son has been going to Abigail’s after school for three years. He loves it and asks to go on days I come to collect him from school! Abigail is caring and fun and the children love her.

Abi looked after my daughter after school for over 2 years when we moved in to the area. My daughter settled in quickly and made many friends. I’d highly recommend Abi as she has a wealth of experience and is extremely welcoming and warm

Abi has been looking after our 6 year old daughter for 3 year and our 2 year old son for a year. we had a bad a experience with our previous nanny and we were blessed to be introduced to Abi. From the moment both our kids met her they loved her, the settling in period from my daughter was just a minute. Abi is always smiley and natural with children. My son in the morning runs to her house and it is clear how much he loves his time there. Her house is full of toys for all ages and they are always busy with creative activities. My daughter loves their colouring and cooking sessions . My son loves playing in the garden and spending time with the older kids in the afternoon and Abi is always with him to guide him and provide him with educational toys and help him learn. Abi offers all the thing kids need to be happy ,safe and develop. We highly recommend Abi !

My daughter has been going to Abi for before and after school care since September 2017. She can take time to settle with new people but settled in with Abi easily. Which was a huge relief for me. She loves going to Abi in the morning and has a great relationship with her. We have found Abi reliable and friendly.

Abi looked after my daughter for two years, three days a week pre-nursery and was extremely reliable. She is very hardworking and and her 20 years experience shines through. Abi provides nutritious food and a stimulating, safe environment in central Richmond. The positive atmosphere and genuine enthusiasm that Abi exudes helped my daughter to develop and, most importantly, enjoy their time spent together. I can’t recommend her too highly.
