About Me
I am an Ofsted OUTSTANDING registered childminder, a member of the Professional association for childcare and early years, a member of the forest childcare association,
a Hygge for early years accredited setting and a Free entitlement provider. Offering childcare for 0-4 year olds, Tue, Wed and Thurs. CLAIR BOARER EARLY YEARS CHILDCARE.
Before becoming a childminder in 2010 I worked in the local primary school with groups of children and one to one. I had a break in childminding in 2019 and worked with early years children in a special needs primary school, returning to childminding in 2021.
Children in my care have free flow of the ground floor of my house and garden and access to a wide range of age appropriate toys and child friendly furniture.
I believe a vital part of a child's development can be achieved out and about in nature, I regularly provide opportunities for the children to explore our local environment such as the woods, beach and parks.
I understand the happiness of the child is priorty to parents, as it is mine, to ensure this I work closely with parents, communicating on a daily basis. Above all I will provide the children with a warm and welcoming environment where they can have fun, grow and develop as individuals.
My Experience
I have 3 grown up children of my own and 22 years experience working with early years children and primary age. I have run a very successful Childminding business for 12 years, receiving 2 Outstanding Ofsted inspection grades. I have also worked at a local primary school with children in all year groups, working with small groups of children and also one to one. I have also worked at a special needs primary school with early years children.
