About Me
Hi, I’m a mum of three boys, so I have plenty of experience of family life and keeping little ones entertained! We love getting outdoors, exploring, playing and getting a bit mucky, but we also enjoy the quieter moments too — a cup of tea, a movie and enjoying the simple things.
Before becoming a Mum, I worked in a baby room of a nursery then as a nanny for beautiful twins. Since then I have nannied at private events, weddings and also baby sat children in both hotels and people’s homes.
I’m a friendly, caring and down-to-earth person, and I really enjoy spending time with children and seeing their personalities come through. I’d love to be someone you can feel comfortable and confident leaving your children with, whether that’s for a few hours, an evening out or just a helping hand when you need it.
My Experience
I began my studies in childcare at school, where I gained a Diploma in Health and Social Care. After leaving college, I was accepted onto an apprenticeship at a nursery, where I gained valuable experience working with children aged 2–4 years.
During my time at the nursery, I was fortunate enough to help set up and run a newly built baby unit, caring for babies from 6 weeks to 17 months old. This gave me a great deal of experience in supporting babies’ individual needs and development.
My first nannying position began in October 2013, when I worked for a lovely family caring for their twins for almost two years. I left the role in September 2015 to go on maternity leave and have since had two lovely boys of my own.
In between having my own children, I have continued to gain experience through various ad-hoc nannying positions, including working at yoga retreats and crèches. These roles have allowed me to continue doing what I love while gaining experience with children of different ages and needs.
My Qualifications
Full DBS
full level 3 diploma in Childcare for the children and young peoples workforce.
A-Level Health and social care grade BC
All GCSE's grade A-C
Paediatric First Aid (now out of date)
Been on many childcare courses such as 'brainy babies' and 'child protection'
