A good childminder/nanny but sadly unreliable when it comes to commitment. She left abruptly with no notice leaving our family in a difficult position and unable to work, and our children confused & disappointed as they’d built a relationship with her.

I do not feel this is a fair or true review.
I advised the family I was unable to work at short notice due to Covid 19 and having to self isolate, as per government guidelines.
I had only worked with the children for a few days on a short temporary basis - I provided the best care I could in that short time but it certainly wouldn't have left the children confused or disappointed. The parents could have explained to the children without it causing any upset to them.
I have worked for over 30 years in childcare and have only ever had positive responses from parents. I am able to provide many positive references, written or verbal references.
